After candidates complain to organizers, Orly Taitz's speaking engagement is withdrawn. Taitz has been a leading voice in the discredited 'birther' movement.

One candidate threatened to withdraw from the event before Tuesday's decision to uninvite Taitz. John Dennis, who is running for the Republican nomination to oppose House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in San Francisco, said he would not appear on the same stage as Taitz.
"The presence of a discredited publicity seeker on the same platform with patriotic Americans distorts the focus of our movement, distracts from our common message and gives ammunition to those who continue to question our legitimacy," Dennis said in a statement.

“Discredited birth movement”? Who exactly discredited it? I am still very much a “birther” and will be until Obama proves where he was born.

Yes, but not to the same level of effect because you can cite specific instances of a socialist agenda coming from the Administration.
The birther stuff? Its been discredited to anyone rational. When you have a GOP Governor, O’Reilly, Beck, Krauthammer, NRO, TWS, etc etc etc saying there ‘is no there, there’ its time to let it go, and focus on whats ‘real’ and killing the country due to the insane policies and legislation.
I believe she had two cases that were not blocked, both in federal court. One in Georgia, where she was charged with contempt of court for her ludicrous conduct and another in California which is still active, I believe, but headed nowhere. She has a mail order law degree amd makes her living as a dentist. She is absolutely the WRONG person to lead ANY legal fight.
And what did these judges base the dismissals on? Facts?
This is not a “conspiracy theory”: it was all well and good
when democrats raised hell about McCain’s birth place!
I suspect that the questions surrounding his birthplace are a red herring. The real things he is trying to hide - how he received his scholarship money, why he has used several social security numbers in his life, how he got his “teaching” position and what it entailed, whether or not he was really a editor of the Harvard Law Review, who really wrote his books for him, etc. - will be laughed off as “there they go again” when he “proves” he was born in Hawaii.

I see. They have been enforcing the constitution eh? How come they did not throw out the 17th when the Constitution clearly states that “no state without it’s consent, etc”..That requires a unanimous vote. How about the 16th? There were not sufficient states to ratify the language presented in the 16th. And, I have a problem with “standing”..I can be defrauded by the congress and the Electoral College because I am experiencing the same fraud as every other citizen. Makes reason stare.....
All that hate you have for Orly and she can’t harm one hair on your head. But you support a man’s right to lie, deflect and con the people. Someone with the power to ruin your life and all of future generations.
Really, you should choose your battles more wisely.
We are being played by everything Obama does, has done and will do. Just some of us know it. A lot of Americans don’t.

If you listen to Obama's people then you are right. But that means everyone in here is also racist according to Obama's team. You accept one theory you accept them all as they are thrown at us for opposing his policies. It makes people back down on very important issues to America's freedom and liberty.
Believing this and fighting against people who have your values is how they will win. I will not relent on a man who has lied to the people and is destroying our country. People are afraid to speak out but they do not believe anything Obama says. Back down on a man who is spending millions to hide a BC we all show?

Jude Land wrote an excellent opinion. You can see that he made the extra effort to place everything in the record in case Taitz continued with her antics elsewhere (which she did).
