Georgia's governor Sonny Perdue originally said that Georgia would sue independently to keep costs down. I'm thrilled that my state will be joining the original lawsuit instead!

When a ‘majority’ of states come out against this monstrosity .. Why would lawsuits even be necessary?
I guess that what I am asking is .. once the majority of states show that they don’t want the ‘monstrosity’, don’t they have the right to over-ride the Federal government since the states are in ‘charge’ of their own governance?
Not sure I have worded this correctly but hopefully you get my meaning?
