An amateur video - looks like the author appeared at the crash site before the rescuers and security service.
Take a look especially at 57 sec., and later. I can hear several gunhots, pretty clearly.

The pilot dumped the fuel before the first landing attempt. He had to get down.
I was thinking the same thing. They sound like warning shots to clear the scene.
Poland was going to let us put a missile defense shield there. We were also going to build a huge pipeline in return that would compete with Russia’s monopoly in the region. The President of Poland and his brother came to power on an anti communist anti Russian polical message. (Good starting point)
I don’t know. Putin poisoned that guy running for president in the Ukraine who he did not like. He’s KGB. He’s brutal. There were gunshots. I would not put anything past Putin/Russia - including nuking us...or arranging for it to be done by “terrorists.”

You’re right—and being married to an Okie for nearly 48 years, I should know that! His subtle humor goes right over my head at first—then I think about it for a moment—and have a big laugh.
Sounds to me Ole Pooty handled the situation quite well. Anyone who would have journalists doing headers out of Moscow hotel windows would not be above arranging a little “accident.” Its almost like he is telling the Poles, “We wiped out your leadership before, and there were no consequences, and we have done it again, and there will be no consequences.”
