Not familiar with Hombre, but then I don’t buy much store bought jerky because of expense, and it cannot match the home made for good flavor. Is it a brand as popular or well known as jack links? Frankly I can’t stand Jack Links. Just tastes weird to me. One of the companies in South Dakota that makes buffalo jerky does an outstanding job, but it isn’t cheap either.

Hombre is the name of the ‘micro’ jerky from the Pyle meat Co., only available in the Topeka to Kansas City area. If they are not bought outright I hope they can license their recipe to someone who will stay true to it.
