Good Morning
Mornin’, e.c.!
Well, well, well, Mr. Stern’s out the door.
Got promoted, no doubt.
He’ll probably be taking up residence in the Lincoln bedroom, now.
And with updates...
No Special Election for Eric Massa's Seat
Taxation Without Representation in New York District 29
Note to the nation: If they can do it to us, they can do it to you.
I lurve that anthem!!!
He should play that every morning!
Hope for the change for the hope of the change!
; )
Oh! And I figured out why everyone would be mad at him by the end of the week!! Bet they’ll propose BRUTAL, Savage cuts to Social Security and Medicare!
Hello.
Yes, it's got to be that. The entitlements are creating unsustainable unfunded liabilities.
OMG, now the excuse is that they can’t afford it!?
Crap, that is so lame. Surely there’s some dept. or some silly program that they can shave for dough if that is the case.
I feel for you guys, Mew.
After I posted that, I realized that it will probably be eliminating S/S altogether!
Or at least privatizing it.
I’m totally ok with that.
In my neck of the woods we call it a LIE.
(New York) State put freeze on hiring, then added 51,464 people
And a lame lie at that :)
Anyone know a lawyer who does consitutional law? The 29th needs one to represent it. Looks like the only way we're gonna get a special election is if we haul the gov's butt into court.
And why isn't denying over 600,000+ people their right to vote one mother of a civil rights violation?!
You are right, that is just outrageous.
They certainly don’t give a rip about the Constitution. Between the commerce clause and the “good and welfare” clause (LOL!) they think they can do whatever they want.
“And why isn’t denying over 600,000+ people their right to vote one mother of a civil rights violation?!”
I’d say so. But there’s some even here at FR who would say otherwise. I find that obscene. Even here it looks like most are shrugging their shoulders. They may think they don’t have a dog in this hunt, but in the big picture they do!
I guess they feel that because they don’t live in the 29th in NY there’s nothing they can do.
I like the "good and plenty" clause. It preserves our right to buy candy :^)
Hate to say it, but I’ve got to go run some errands. Catch you folks later!
