Ben, those of us that know that you supported Al Franken verbally as well as financially, didn’t see or buy your movie and wish you would stop being ‘on our side’...

We are not fooled.

I'm not inclined to take advice from someone who regularly writes checks to the republican party based on what it used to be.

I've got a good idea - let's lock them both in the garage until December.

“It is time for Mr. Steele to go.”

I might not agree with Mr Stein often, but I agree with this.

As I have said before, his win was a knee-jerk reaction to 0bama’s win.

Alas, with the way things are going, the RNC would replace him Colin Powell.

I don't care who said it, I know they are correct. I say, fire Michael Steele, why there is still time for his replacement to have a momentous impact.

Several posts above indicate Steele has done nothing. That is not true at all, and what he has done in some areas has not been good at all.

I don't feel he is a true leader and the position he is in, requires a leader. He is a follower and far too willing to accept the status quo. This is reflected in many issues he has dealt with. We need someone with a strong, ethical and moral spine, regarding all the mainstream American ideals.

This is no time for the status quo. If the GOP is ever going to revitalize itself, which remains to be seen, accepting the “established” behavior of a failed and milk toast recent past behavior is certainly not the way to do it.

We need to STOP this tendency to for loss aversion. There are real gains to be made here...real meaningful gains. Pretending that those gains are simply going to be handed over on a silver platter is ridiculous.

We must make the correct and sometimes difficult change to attain those gains. Otherwise those gains, quite probably, will not materialize to be near as great in magnitude as they NEED to be to save this republic from the path of demise it is currently on.

This great nation has a lot of momentum built up, heading in the wrong direction. It requires a force of a great magnitude, in an opposing direction, to significantly alter its course.

Michael Steel is not the man for leading a force of a great magnitude in an opposing direction - because he is far too willing to accept the status quo, which he commonly refers to as "the reality" of the past. He is far too humanist and he is lacks any real visionary and revolutionary ideals for the problems that face the RINO infested GOP. He has accepted the "reality" of floundering and left leaning GOP of recent years. How is that ever going to save this republic? It is not. How is that ever going save the GOP? It is not, going to.

Fire Michael Steele, while there is still time to do so. Otherwise, the GOP impact will never be enough to save us.

excerpt from the source article ...

... “Every single day, including Saturdays and Sundays, the phone rings at the Ben Stein household. On the line is a man or woman raising money for the Republicans:
...
“Republicans running for the Senate. Republicans running for the House of Representatives. The California Republican Party. And, above all, the Republican National Committee.

Every single day.

We very often write checks, and we do it because we have a long history with the party....”
