Its a sad commentary on our politics that he cant show civility to a leader of a movement that routinely calls people like you and me teabagging racists.
Theres nothing nice about Nancy, Inhofe said during an interview on KFAQ radio in Oklahoma this morning. She disagrees with everything we believe.
She is nice how many of you all have met her? Shes a nice person, Coburn said. Just because somebody disagrees with you dont mean theyre not a good person.
Inhofe had a slightly different take.
She is a powerful person, he said. People wonder how she can keep getting reelected just go out to her district.
The boss emeritus calls her an embarrassment to women, but thats because MM doesnt appreciate respect for ones opponents the way the people who call her a coconut race traitor do.
I have no Pelosi video to offer you, alas, so heres one of Barney Frank from Leno last night blaming Newt Gingrich for having introduced hate to politics or something. It was pretty hateful of the GOP to take back the House after 40 years, Ill grant him that. Oh, and heres another video from the same show of Frank saying, no thanks, hed rather not dine with Karl Rove because he doesnt like him. Civility-mania!
Oh is that right? You disagree with the assessment so you try to diminish me personally. Classic liberal traits.
Yes, us hicks in Oklahoma know how to play politics as well. Coburn says she’s nice and Inhofe says she’s spawn of the devil. Do you really think Coburn and Inhofe don’t speak to each other? Welcome to 21 century politics.
Your assessment is nuts. Simple enough.
And you are just a wealth of knowledge and a fine judge of the issues. Some of your posts are incredibly enlightening as to the type of individual you truly are.
You’re feisty! Nothing wrong with that. You’ll just have to trust us Oklahoman’s on Coburn. You know he REALLY didn’t want to go back to DC, we sent him anyway.....;)
I just try to call a spade a spade SF. I absolutely do trust the people like you to do what is right because as we know it comes down to the people of the state. However, the entire nation is their constituency. What they do affects all of us not just the individuals from the state they represent. This making nice nice with an enemy is totally uncalled for. Do the dems do that? No...never. They spew hate when speaking about conservatives and I for one am tired of our people trying to ‘make peace’. We are at war and if we don’t correct this situation, it’s going to escalate into a violent war ...God help us.
Your posts seem to lack anything close to common sense. Maybe you should study what Dr. Coburn has done in the Senate before you shoot off your big, ignorant mouth.
I agree with your comments.
It is way past time - WAAAAY past time - to stop being “nice” to Evil enemies.
It always looks nice when you lay the meat out for a trap....:)
lol...go away mental midget
You seem to qualify for your own mental midget club. You wouldn’t know a true conservative if it bit you. Dr. Coburn is certainly one, you I question.
ty. IMO, you’re right. It’s way past the time of being nice.
This would be an example of me "still liking Tom Coburn, even though I disagree with him on one issue".
Not trying to start a fight (honestly); just making an observation about how I'm willing to support some politicians with whom I agree 80-90% of the time on various important issues, even if I do disagree with them on some things.
Please don't ping me to any other threads for any reason.
A politician may have (some) conservative views and positions (actually I’m sick of the word “conservative”, veering towards “constitutionalist”) but making nice with fiends in human form who are the enemies of all that is good is nothing other than WEAKNESS.
To display weakness to an enemy is wrong wrong wrong.
Relubs/conservatives need courage! Fighting spirit! No more “reach across the aisle” crap!!
You're trolling.
(shrugs). As you wish. So much for an attempt at an olive branch on my part; I figured we could both at least agree on liking Tom Coburn.
An unfortunate mistake on my part. I see that any attitude of Christian conciliation is alien to your spirit.
On a thread about Tom Coburn, I declare that I like Tom Coburn -- even though I disagree with him on this one issue.
That's not "trolling". That's called "pertinent commentary".
Care to make a comment on the Article posted above? You know, like I did?
Or are you just trolling?
