Laura Ingraham tweeted a rumor a couple of days ago that Barney Frank was going to retire.

Apparently, that was all it was -- a rumor.

Frank issued a statement saying he was not resigning.

The rumor showed up on several chat/blog/message websites, each attributing the rumor to Ingraham's tweet.

CNNs Sunday show seems to have a pertinent guest not shared with others every week. I’ll break my rule and watch it to see Haley Barbour.

When I first noticed this trend, the Interesting Guest was usually the last person on the program.

Diversion. Get the media talking about something other then double digit under/un employment, rising fuel prices, and a stagnant economy

Probably Obama’s pact with the Russians to cut our nuclear defenses and commit to no first strike or counter attack even if we’re collectively gassed or spread with some deadly plague.

Of course, the truth I’ve stated above will be covered with “Oh it’s so wonderful” statements about how wise and peaceful Obama is.
