Sterling Glines, 24, of Arizona, was examining his .40-caliber Glock.
I carry a .40 Glock and the only way it goes off is a finger on a trigger.

I don’t see how it could discharge if the slide were pulled back.

...which is where his finger doubtless was, as he begin to pull back the slide.

Technically, not true.
I have read at least one account of a person reholstering his Glock and a shirt getting caught in the trigger, making the gun discharge. Could never happen with my Kimber as it has a thumb safety AND a grip safety.
For anyone who thinks Glocks are safe, I simply would ask, woyuld you walk around grocery store/mall with a 1911 in Condition Zero?
There is no Condition 1 on a Glock.
