After Stupak and Ben Nelson we can say there is no such thing as a pro life Democrat.

After the Healthcare vote, we can say there isn’t a Democrat that is not a Socialist.

Count two congressional democrats down in Michigan. 1st and 7th district. Don’t know about the others.

Speaking of “Executive Orders”, and these are extreme, extreme, extreme cases I’m suggesting:

Could a president sign an EO dissolving the Constitution?

Or dissolve the Congress and/or Supreme Court?

What are the limits on EO’s? And can the Congress or SCOTUS overturn them?

The sad thing is, now they can run a Democrat who states he has heard the public, and many fools will buy off on the promise.

This is a last ditch attempt to save the Democrat majority from certain destruction.

I laughed when I heard that report that Obama had personally asked Stupak not to resign. My take on it is that a horse head showed up in Stupak’s bead with a note from Il Douche’ Junior reading, “You may want to resign..., health considerations for your family and all.”

He’s got to retire so that Obama can vacate the executive order with fewer repercussions in the House.

No, he still doesn't get it.
These snakes think that they will be rewarded with a nice comfortable rock somewhere, under which they can hide with a cushy job financed by the US taxpayers, and be out of sight enjoying the fruits of his RICO activities.

Ain't gonna happen. He will be in someone's spotlight forever.

He didn't have the good sesnse to just STFU and go away.

“Pro-Life voters in the first district of Michigan and across the country deserve a member, Democrat or Republican, who will put pro-Life over party.”

The author still just does not get it.

And I’m not “pro-life”, just anti-Roe v. Wade.

Technically speaking, there's 250 Rats in the House AND 49 more Rats and Indy's in the Senate to go!

We should remember “Stupak” and apply the name to every corrupt politician that professes one thing and suddenly without reason changes their mind. Call it a Stupak moment. This turd does not deserve any forgiveness for the danger he has done to America.

“One down, 250 to go.”

Stupak is the canary in the coalmine.

A yellow bird turncoat.

If his plan was to vote for this anyway, then why all the theatrics? I dont think I am close to getting an answer on that. I just dont get it.

I don't think that he, or his posse, ever intended to vote "no" on the obamacare bill, they were just holding out to see if obama would up the ante to change their minds.

Obviously, he did.

I don't know what kind of plum obama threw to him, but I hope it was worth living the rest of his days in shame and disgrace before his constitutents and the American people.

Maybe he can get a job in the "Waffle" House.

Stupak understands now what the polling revealed: a vote for that bill was a vote against the will of his constituents. Yet he chose to do it and now he is suffering the consequences.

What does Stupak suffer? Is he not permitted to move far away and start anew with a fat pension and retirement that atarts immediately? Has he traded his membership in Congress for perks not yet revealed?

Just as John McCain said in an interview with Chris Wallace during the 2008 campaign when asked how what he would do if he lost, McCain responded in effect "My life is so blessed...I'll be fine, my family will be fine, either way I will be happy"

Doesn't that statement reveal what is going on?

The pols in Washington are bought and paid for. Our votes do not matter on so many levels. Our votes cannot compete against the graft and payoffs of that world. We can change the person but we can't change the culture there....unless

....unless we get ourselves informed. If as scientists we can observe and identify clearly what it is that 'finances' the corruption, then we can discuss how to 'treat' the disease of this corruption. It is treatable but millions of us have to come to an understanding and agreement on what the causes of the disease are, and what is the best treatment.

I have my conclusions.

But the disease of pols and their culture of corruption spreads because we are kept uninformed, disrupted, distracted and in a state of disarray and disunity. Except now maybe we have a fledgling unity under the Tea Party banner. We can be certain that the pol powers will try to dissolve this unity no matter what the cost.

This was posted before the FIRST vote in the House.

This traitor NEVER intended to vote against the DeathCare Bill. Everything he said and did was a flat out lie.

“HE BETRAYED US. HE PLAYED ON OUR FEARS.”

“I AM SICK AND TIRED OF PEOPLE WHO SAY THAT IF YOU DEBATE AND DISAGREE WITH THIS ADMINISTRATION, SOMEHOW YOU’RE NOT PATRIOTIC. WE NEED TO STAND UP AND SAY WE’RE AMERICANS, AND WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO DEBATE AND DISAGREE WITH ANY ADMINISTRATION.”

I’m not sure that Stupak actually would expect to lose. He may have other reasons for bailing out, possibly financial. Perople in MI probably don’t even know what he did, considering the news blackout in such liberal states.
