Well, now that MIT has weighed in on this, I guess it’s official...
Nevermind that I instinctively knew this by the time I was six.
Most kids understand it on Christmas, when it’s not a white one like it was the last year or the year before.
ping.
Well worth the read, thanks for posting -—
I am confused, has the alarmist done away with the MWP or not?
Noting in the universe is static. And the forces involved are so gigantic it boggles the mind. We should be thankful the universe has left our speck of dust alone for so long. It probably won’t last :{
Well written and completely believable (since this article actually shows a knowledge of basic physics). At least MIT appears to still require competence in their science departments. (Attn: Univ of East Flunkovia, er Anglia)
There are many article about the effort and interesting conversations in the Climategate E-mails....Prof Peck in Arizona had some comments...but he is trying to escape from them,...I'll see if I can point you to something.
ROFL!
*************************EXCERPT*****************************
the video of Dr. Lindzens colloquim to an audience of physicists & engineers at the Fermilab National Accelerator facility in Batavia, IL on Feb 10, 2010, titled The Peculiar Issue of Global Warming. He discusses many of these points in some detail:
http://vmsstreamer1.fnal.gov/VMS_Site_03/Lectures/Colloquium/100210Lindzen/index.htm
Its lengthy but worth watching, as the audience members do give him some warmist razzies!
Have always said that the universe is an undulating mass always correcting itself....both weather and climate play an important part in the movin’ and groovin’...
That was offered with a little tongue in cheekiness ... No real need.
The real problem is if they can’t bury the MWP. the whole theory folds up like a cheap lie.
The good Dr knows what he speaks ... And people would be wise to read carefully what he writes.
But they got it all integrated into the schools andf that's what they were after....the next generation...of voters....all nicely "brain washed" for future politics.
Except these same kids have yet to give up their school bus, auto trips to the store, air conditioning, furnaces, wood frame houses, computers, etc...They think they're doing a lot...and they are sooooo wrong.

Thanks for adding....
>> Fighting global warming with symbolic gestures will certainly not change this.
I think it’s important to point to the fallacies proposed by the modelers, but the premise about the “Fight against global warming” needs to be challenged too; the issue is really about collective worldwide socialism.
Gee, the Earth gets warmer and colder in stages? I didn’t go to MIT and I knew this.
