How can anyone not be moved by these pictures of the mourning Polish folks dealing with such a national tragedy. I confess to tear-filled eyes as I say a prayer for those lost in the dreadful crash and for those they left behind.

Thank you for the pictures. I was shocked and saddened upon learning of the tragedy at 5:30 am on RT. Russian Television has non-stop coverage of the plane crash.
My condolences to the Polish nation, family, and friends of all those who died this morning. May their souls rest in peace.

I think it would be proper if we all sent a joint thread with our sympathy. Can this be done and does anyone know where and how to do it?

I think this thread with its moving photos could do nicely as a sympathy vehicle for us to post condolences.
