President Obama has blamed Mitt Romney for Obamacare, saying he modeled the ruination of the American medical system after the Massachusetts plan.
OK.
Fine.
But in passing one buck, he accepts two more. What happens in Massachusetts reflects upon President Obama. After all, he saw what was happening in Massachusetts and evidently wanted those results to go nationwide.
Mitt can shrug and call the bad stuff unintended consequences.
Obama however has to accept that this is what he intended to do.
So what are the consequences.
From the Wall Street Journal: This week it became impossible in Massachusetts for small businesses and individuals to buy health-care coverage after Governor Deval Patrick imposed price controls on premiums. Read on, because under ObamaCare this kind of political showdown will soon be coming to an insurance market near you.
Obamacare sets up 115 different federal agencies to regulate the medical system. At least one of them is bound to set health insurance rates.
Roughly 200 million Americans have private health insurance.
I wonder how many of those health insurance companies will simply get out of the game, either by choice or by force.
Heckuva job, Barry.

No problem. Congress will simply pass a law compelling insurance companies to stay in business. And hospitals to stay open. And Doctors to keep working. And.....etc, etc, etc. Instead of remaining free men, we will all be tied together in bondage for the sake of “free” health care.

If I had some spare change to invest, medical tourism would be high on my list.

It will be interesting to see how long the Massachusetts state capitol and governor’s mansion are left standing.
There is an earthquake coming.

Surber makes a good point about the number of insurance companies simply folding, I believe it will be many.
Thanks for the ping, it's definitely related.

If you have read “Atlas Shrugged”, that is precisely what a Congress full of looters and thieves does.

It won’t take long for the insurance companies in Mass to simply close their doors and leave the people without insurance at all.

It wont take long for the insurance companies in Mass to simply close their doors and leave the people without insurance at all.Agreed. But that will make it easier for nobama to stuff single payer down our throats.
nobama desperately wants to kill the private insurance industry.

Obastard assumes that the people will meekly accept the fact that the government destroyed private health insurance and accept whatever the Rats want to give us.
