Palin: 'Absolutely' more policy speeches to come

New Orleans (CNN) - Will Americans start to hear more policy speeches from Sarah Palin in the future?

"Absolutely," Palin told CNN in a brief interview outside her New Orleans hotel on Friday. "The more of that, the better."

The former Alaska governor chatted for a few moments after wrapping up her speech to the Southern Republican Leadership Conference, a showing that was closely scrutinized by political insiders looking for clues as to whether she's serious about a presidential bid in 2012.(No Peter, she was responding to Obama's feign attempt to triangulate domestic oil production)

She devoted much of her remarks to the topic of energy policy, a move possibly designed to prove to Republican insiders that she's as passionate about policy issues as she is about fiery political combat.

Palin, emerging from the Windsor Court Hotel wearing a zip-up NASA sweater over her suit, told CNN she had a "blast" addressing the conference and promised to continue with a policy-oriented message.

"It was fun to talk to people of something of substance, like energy, that is so appreciated by these folks because they know that unless we have this energy independence, we will not be prosperous, we will not be secure," she said. "That's what I wanted to concentrate on today."

Just watched it.

It was really good, this is one formidable candidate. It's going to take a lot of work starting with 2010, but it's getting pretty clear, it's her race and she will win if she decides to run.

Reload, repeal, replace, and reload.

Unlike Obama, who apparently had it easy thanks to Marxist/Islamic friends, Sarah has worked hard and has actually had to govern in those offices she was elected to.

Local radio had a guy on late last year who discussed this and it makes sense. He said Palin is so popular right now (he said back then) she runs a risk of peaking too soon, and opening herself and a message up for Zero for attack.

Without a person to attack, the White House swims aimlessly because they can not stand on by their own agenda without having someone else to “campaign” against. Case in point, the ‘08 campaign was nothing more than a “last 8 years” gripe session. Zero lied through his teeth, but people remained focused on “the last 8 years”.

This is the most hyper-sensative unprofessional administration ever. If its not Rush, its Fox, if its not Wall Street, its the auto makers. They don’t have a political person to attack yet and its driving them nuts.

I don’t mind if she doesn’t annnounce either way for another year. What she is doing right now though is perfect.

The sooner Sarah and John part company the better.

Sally is a far left wacko who hates Sarah...I wouldn’t believe a thing she said......

And yes she is a wench, but I would use a more colorful description............

I cannot stress enough the importance of security around Madam President.....

You have people aligned against her that would think nothing of killing her and her family....not even a breath of hesitation.....they are probably waiting for the optimum moment.......

I pray the Lord will deliver us, and her FROM THE HANDS OF THE DEVIL WE ARE IN NOW.

What Palin has going for her is her tenaciousness. She has been attacked in every way possible. The other possible candidates have not and it is inevitable that it will eventually happen. But Palin has come out fighting back and she’s getting stronger. We’ll have to wait to see the candidates, but I hope she joins in. She is an original and, like Lincoln used to say about Grant during the Civil War after numerous failures was he could not spare him because he fought. Same thing with Palin. Our country is in desperate times now.

Yep, Palin has been through the “Trial by Fire” from August of 08’ to now........Notice how she now mocks the MSM and politicians attempt to mock her, Fro example the attempt to make her look violent and the hand writing mocking thing doesn’t work anymore!!

Obama and the MSM have to defend their policies, they are the hunted!! Palin and other conservatives are on the offense because the American people are mad at Obama, the dems, MSM not at Sarah or anybody else for that matter.

We need to hold Palin up in prayer. These idiots are stupid enough to try something.

Amen.

Did you see that other wench with Laura tonight....

Yeah. I forget her name, but she's married to the owner of the Washington Post. She is such an elitist snot. Classic know-it-all, Wellesley-type, snob. (Those of you from MA know what I mean). She is the anti-Palin. No wonder these people don't understand Sarah's appeal.

Oooooohhhhh... I like that.

"Hey MSM, the hunter has become the hunted!"

We need to remind them of that --regularly.
