The Hawaii Department of Health continues to ignore and stonewall legitimate requests for information which under its UIPA law should be made available to a requester within ten days.
Mr. John Charlton, our Editor-in-Chief, has made three requests for such information from the Health Department beginning in early March which the Health Department either says it does not understand or to which it has failed to respond at all.
On February 26, 2010, Mr. Charlton published an article demonstrating the Health Department’s increasing reluctance to comply with UIPA requests. He had asked for copies of handwritten pages from the “Birth Index” maintained before Hawaii’s birth records were computerized and had offered to pay for the cost of obtaining them. Specifically, he was looking for anyone with the surnames Payne, Dunham, Soetoro and Obama.
Instead, the Health Department sent a PDF file of births with the parents’ names redacted. None of the names for which Mr. Charlton had asked appeared on the list, although Mr. Charlton had obtained information independently that at least one person with one of the last names had been born during the period in question.
Since that time, Mr. Charlton has made three more requests to the Hawaii Department of Health, none of which has been addressed. The PDF which Janice Okubo, the Health Department’s Public Information Officer, released to Mr. Charlton did not contain the information he had requested.
On March 4, 2010, Mr. Charlton sent the Hawaii Health Department the following email:

It is possible that the Obama operatives did a ‘cut and paste’ job on the few known microfiches inserting the Obama birth announcements

The first I heard about the newspaper announcements was on a blog site I believe called “Texas Darling.”
If I remember correctly, before the elections, some woman posted in the comments section that she went to the library and got the microfish information first hand from the librarian. She was so sorry to inform everybody that his birth was listed there.
Yes that part I saw right away was odd, but the rest has the ring of truth ...
If a man who was born in China I forget his name Sun something or other and still able to get a certification of birth from Hawaii then there is something definitely wrong with Hawaii

J.D. is a real consulate ass. Typical of the mind set of consulate officers. They claim to be well trained. Most could not even work at Mc,Cs flippen hamburgers.
My wife, a Chinese citizen was refused a visa to the USA. Reason who knows? We own property together in China. Since 2003 have transfered
over 100,000 to a chinese bank. The paper they gave her says we have no family relationship. ? Real crappy people at the Guanzhou consulate.

(Searching for the origin of the ‘birth announcement’ - seems that ‘Lori’ maintains there is an original on microfiche...but the announcement itself was received by E-MAIL!)

Here’s a comment on Atlas Shrugs from Infidel Granny, reminding Pamela just where the birth announcement came from. It was a scan, e-mailed to her.

The woman I spoke to at the Advertiser suggested I contact the Hawaii State Librbary for the info. That’s where I got it from just as it states in the blog on July 23. The librarian stated another woman had asked for the same thing about one week before I did.

There was a grant back in the early 80’s for city and county clerks to put the books onto microfilm. This was for two reasons. One, because many of the older books were getting damaged by the public rumaging through them, and two to save room. However, most still let the public use the original books. At this point in time, I would not trust that microfilm any more than I’d trust the microfilmed newspaper announcements. BTW, the birth indexes are NOT off limits to the general public. But, and this is a big BUT, that doesn’t mean that the index can’t be faked. The indexes are put together with loose pages and pages are added as needed, so a page can easily be substituted. Even the original record books and be quickly faked if they are the loose leaf kind and not the bound kind. Of course the bound kind can be faked by someone with the proper materials and access.

and about time. He was smooth. He came to FR and posted on topics that weren’t controversial, slowly moved up and tried to fly below the radar but he just wasn’t cut out for the job. Too radical, he couldn’t control himself. He was on my watch list for a while but recently it was obvious.
I'm about ready to throw out any stories, any hearsay and start concentrating more on the facts. More and more facts, hard evidence are emerging. They can't dispute those.
We know SAD was in Seattle just a few weeks after Barry’s birth...and interestingly she didn’t know how to change the baby’s diapers.

Where did that idea come from, that O Senior accompanied SAD to Kenya? Or that SHE ever left the mainland? OR that she was EVER in Hawaii?
I will believe she was enrolled at the University in Hawaii when I see A VERIFIED, NOTORIZED TRANSCRIPT of her attendance record.
That letter confirming she was enrolled in September 1960 assumes that ANN OBAMA who lived at the birth announcement address, renting the bungalow behind the Dunham’s rented residence, was Stanley Ann Dunham.
What would be the result if an attendance record (NOT TAMPERED WITH!) was to show it was ANN OR ANNA OBAMA who commenced at the University in Hawaii in September 1960?
