New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie isn't laughing about a teachers union's memo that hints of his death.
The memo is the latest salvo in a war of words between Christie and the union over wage and benefits concessions.
The Record of Bergen County obtained the Bergen County Education Association memo that includes a closing prayer:
"Dear Lord this year you have taken away my favorite actor, Patrick Swayze, my favorite actress, Farrah Fawcett, my favorite singer, Michael Jackson, and my favorite salesman, Billy Mays. I just wanted to let you know that Chris Christie is my favorite governor."
Association president Joe Coppola says the "prayer" was a joke and was never meant to be made public.
Christie spokesman Michael Drewniak says there's nothing professional about the group...

Anyone surprised that the teacher’s unions are no different than the SEIU union hacks.
My surprise is that the Bergen Record actually put this story on it’s front page. That took courage.

That ‘joke’ was an email which circulated recently, but had Obama as the ‘favorite’. It’s sort of comical that the Union used an email; what a bunch of mental giants they are. /s

“Association president Joe Coppola says the ‘prayer’ was a joke and was never meant to be made public.”
Hey I think this is a good thing! Think about it, how many police officers and teachers and Mayors have sent an “off color” joke that offended someone - and then were hung out to dry by their organizations?
From now on, they simply need to say, “It a was joke and was never meant to be made public.”

Olberman, Matthews, and Madow will blame this on the Tea Party, ... if they cover it at all.

...this Union thug would probably berate a waitress that brings him food. Chris Christie was a Federal Prosecutor before becoming Gov. This Union thug had better covered all his tracks, or he’ll find himself under some in the Meadowlands.

Association president Joe Coppola says the "prayer" was a joke and was never meant to be made public. I am really shocked at this. This must be the first time I have ever seen any left-wing radical SOB issue some sort of retraction for anything.
