Those things must be. Worry when they cease.

No, on balance, we have very few wars going on now than throughout past history. 200 years ago, for example, you would be hard pressed to find a country that wasn’t at war. It just seems like there are more because of 24 hour, instant news cycles. 20 years ago, a war going on in Burma, for example, may get a blip on page 3 of a paper.

If we aren’t, then it sure seems like we are.

I know, every generation is convinced they are in the end times. But sooner or later, someone will be right!

It’s possible these are the birth pangs.

I don’t think that it matters overly much if the final day is today or tomorrow or in five thousand years. We would do better to preach Christ crucified and risen for the sins of all mankind than to engage in rapture practice.

Are we approaching end times?

That is a relative question.

As long as time keeps moving, I would have to say , yes.

Pardon the comma splice : )

Given the one-way nature of time, yes, we are approaching the End Times. Whether the end comes tomorrow, or 5 billion years from now when the sun swallows the Earth, no one knows.

We are quickly approaching the time that Christ will return. If you want to call that the end times, then yes. First clue that we are the generation is, when the Jews returned to Israel and it became a Jewish state again. Read all of Matthew 24. Matthew 24:34 I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

Prophecy about what the times will be like before Christs return is all through the bible.

A quick over view. There will be birth pangs. Where all things are coming together. More wars, more earthquakes, more economic upheaval, mens hearts will grow cold, signs in the heavens(remember Jesus star when he was born?) world wide immorality, like in Noah's day...ect. Then one man will rise up, seeming to have all the answers, people will be in fear because of all the bad things happening. Unless they are spiritually prepared through a relationship with Jesus Christ, they will fall for this guy. This man whoever he is, will make a 7 year peace treaty with Israel that he will break in the middle of that 7 years.

You need to have a relationship with Jesus. Get a solid foundation with Him. All these things the bible talks about are going to happen. There isn't a whole lot we can do about those thing. But, we can do something about ourselves, we can prepare as best we can, spiritually, which is top priority, physically and emotionally, and let God do the rest.

Yep your right. Every generation has had some of the signs. This is the only generation since Christ rose, that has had so many. In fact, I'd say that just about everything is in place. The Jews reclaiming Israel is the key. Matthew 24:34 I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

We are that generation.

No.

Problem is the MSM today makes $$ hyping everything like it is a calamity i.e. global warming.

If you look at things from a historical perspective, we are not nearly as bad off as many people were in the past.

The Jews reclaiming Israel is the key.

I think a lot of folks miss that the Jews did reclaim Israel for a short period in 64-70AD when they rebelled against Rome. One of the largest amassed Roman armies put down the rebellion, ending finally at Masada, which, interestingly enough, overlooks the Megiddo valley (Armageddon).

It was a revolt, it wasn’t a Jewish state at that time.
