This is going to be designed, IMO, to kick in our doors, take whatever these thugs think should be taken from us for the good of the GOVT. This smacks of the Gestapo of Germany. What next, they find out there is someone ill in our home and they take this person to a Hospital to help them..WE are losing our freedom and liberty and how this can be stopped I shudder to think.. If people think that we could not see a war in our own nation like what happened in Europe I think they are mistaken. And who in heaven’s name will help us? USSC ruled back in the 80’s that the federal government has plenary powers over the National Guard. Plenary means ‘absolute’.

Govenor of the state of Mass. (Dukakis) sued the feds claiming that the feds could not send Mass NG units to Central America without his permission. USSC ruled that the federal government could, essentially, do any damn thing with the NG that they wanted.

In simple terms, this statement in the law doesn’t expand the power of the Federal government over the NG.
