First thing’s first..
We are back to “Launch on Impact” protocol, thus we need to wait until nukes hit our soil before we can launch back
Second..
Because we have to wait until multiple nukes hit us (To ascertain who attacked us with certainty) then wait until POTUS gives the order to retaliate (Which does take time), we would have to wait at least one hour AFTER the first nukes hit before retaliation. By this time, many of our subs would be on the bottom (those 1/3 that are not in port).
Shame and terror on every idiot voter who elected this completely unqualifed man to the office of CIC.

I would LOVE to hear what the Joint Chiefs of Staff are REALLY saying behind closed doors today... I hope they remember that their oaths didn’t include that pesky sentence “obey the President”.
