President Obama was dubbed not just “the commander-in-chief” as he celebrated Easter Sunday, but “our black president,” and “anointed,” too.
Per the pool report, Obama, with First Lady Michelle, children Sasha and Malia and mother-in-law Marian Robinson, attended holiday services at Washington’s Allen Chapel AME Church, where the reception was considerably more boisterous than his appearance at St. John’s Church near the White House where he marked the holiday last year.
Various speakers in the historically black church — with roots pre-dating the Civil War — praised Obama and his family, but the Rev. Michael Bell, pastor of the church, was perhaps most lavish, describing Obama as the “most intelligent, most anointed, most charismatic president of America.”
“God has His hand all over you,” Bell said. “Anyone would be foolish to come up against him.”
He described the First Lady as “his beautiful wife - TV cameras don’t do her justice.”
The church is in southeast Washington, where the community was rocked last week by an especially brutal outbreak of gun violence that left four dead and five wounded. Among the people arrested was a 14-year-old boy.
Bell said it “was no accident that he (Obama) is here in light of what happened here last Tuesday.” Obama’s attendance was “helping our community heal,” Bell said. “Mr. President, you have no idea how much your presence has meant to us today,” he said after the sermon.
Although Obama is the first African-American president, he takes pains to conduct himself as a president who happens to be black. That position has angered some African-Americans who have complained Obama is not addressing their needs.
We’ve heard of no complaints today.

Oh, I’m sure similar odd sentiments had been said about Bush and Reagan... compared to some of the stuff that comes straight from the media, this is pretty mild...
He is a socialist dictator elected to the position of POTUS by default of the GOP, and the negligence of the Democrat party.
Obama's goal is to CHANGE the US government into a socialist entity and has no intention whatsoever to uphold and defend the Constitution, so therefore he is NOT POTUS but a socialist dictator in the office of POTUS

Take note of this statement, the insinuation being that if you are against Obama, you are against G-d. Dangerous at the very least.
I am just happy the man went to Church.
This is very sad. Obama is being judged strictly by the color of his skin, and not by the content of his character.
Never forget: the Rev. Martin Luther King was a registered Republican and his killer a southern Democrat.

This is even worse than Sarah Palin boosting John McCain. Surely an AME church ought to know better about trapping the black man in lifetime “careers” of welfare?

Well I am a Christian and every Christian KNOWS it's up to Barry to WANT to find God and God is everywhere - not just Church! Do you think if Barry stands in a garage, it will make him a car?
That pastor is an enabler and that's the last thing Barry needs. He needs truth and lies were spoken in that church today! And who is the father of lies?

A minister should know better than to say something like that.
Judging from what Obama is doing - he should be quaking in his boots if God's hand is all over him.
Threatening patriots & citizens is mocking God by saying it would be foolish to come up against Him!
