I liked the movie, but why does Nicholas Cage always have to play such a creeper?
And (spoiler)
what was with that alien hitting him with the sonic boom from his mouth or whatever, when he asks what's happening to the kids?
It's not like Cage could've stopped him or anything.

Weird. My wife and daughter payperviewed that ludicrous 2012 movie and watched it. An hour after the movie ended, the house starts shaking, windows rattle and a picture falls from the wall.

Not the best movie to watch just before a quake huh?
A movie where the government tries to save itself and to heck with everyone else.
None of those “VIPs” could have survived a month on their own without the “little people”.
