Definitely felt it here in Palm Springs. No damage, but sure lasted longer than other quakes.

Gee, I hope its not the one with Noooo windows... and Noooo doors. Of course theres always MY way out....LOL!

Yes, S.Ca will be feeling them for a week or more. My concern is that the Geyser quakes are related to this big one. Already a smaller one further north along the san andreas.

Felt nothing in North L.A. County. Cat still sleeping.
Wind still blowing pretty good today though.

Yes it is .. and the San Andreas has been very, very busy lately as people can see on some of the reports here.

I think it is fascinating that you were already outside when it occurred and that you felt NOTHING. Thanks for checking into the quake thread & posting, I was curious how you were.

I wonder with how bad building codes are south of the border, how much damage there will be there. They don't have the Big Government interference in their construction we have here in the USA.
To: Yaelle
They said that a woman is trapped on the 34th floor at some building in Century City..on Constellation, the mall is closed today, so I wonder what building is open today that someone might be in there

Felt it pretty strongly here, too. Cat ran under the bed. I just lay down to have a nap .... so much for that.

3.4 Sympathy quake just west of Julian, too. We’ll be shaking all along the unlocked sections of the San Andreas and nearby faults for a while now.

The restaurants in the mall are open. It’s probably in the office buildings.
