Republican U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina, who has been trying to appeal to conservatives in a tough, three-way primary race, said Friday that one of the senators she admires most is a Democrat: California Sen. Dianne Feinstein.
"Sen. Feinstein has been a fine senator for the state of California, and has accomplished a great deal. I would describe her as a pragmatic problem-solver," Fiorina told Chronicle reporters and editors during an interview with the newspaper's editorial board. "I admire her, I respect her. I like her. I think and I hope she would say the same about me."
Asked to cite senators she admired, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO and first-time candidate mentioned Feinstein, for her practical approach to issues such as California's water crisis, and Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz. In 2008, Fiorina served as a top economic adviser to McCain's presidential campaign.

Can’t vote for Devote because I’m not in California but have sent money a couple of times and also made sure my friends in California know about him.
Founded by Jim Robinson, catapulted to stardom by Jim Thompson.
Have there been any studies estimating how many illegals vote in CA?
There are a few of us, just not in politics apparently.
“I dont know if thats Carly or not. But the most conservative candidate who can win in Cali might make us all barf.”
Remember Reagon’s 80/20 rule. “If someone is with me 80% of the time then he/she is my friend”. I think Carly is about as close to 80% as one can hope for in Cali. So, suggest we support her. Btw, she is a fiscal conservative which is what is desperately needed. However, the state legislature must also be turned over for anything positive to happen.
I do not know but I would guess that if they did they would not release it.
It usually will not make a difference in state wide voting in Ca., as the rats out number us my a lot. It still needs to be stop and they still need to be escorted out of the US.
My point was stop expecting Ca to elect conservatives but not the conservative states. There are more ‘conservative’ states than liberal states, so we should always have a majority in the senate. Why did we have to rely on a RINO from Mass to break the filibusterer proof senate?
And then we complain that a RINO from liberal Mass does not always vote the way we do.
Ask our friends from the Dakotas, Co, Virginia, Montana,Indian ..... why they elect liberal rats????
“Fiorina served as a top economic adviser to McCain’s presidential campaign.”
LOL...Birds of a feather!!!!
“*** Chuck DeVore *** “
Another promising candidate is
John Eastman running for atty. general in California and endorsed by Tom McClintok.
There is a very good interview with him here.

He could have moved in the 10 some odd years since setting up FR.
I think everyone else has.
I’m not voting for this bitch.
And how is his campaign going? Does he even show up in the polls?
5,011,781 voted republican in 2008 (there are a percentage that are more moderate the same can be said about all state republican parties). Add up the 20 smallest states and see what there total is.
Two of the three republicans are tied or ahead of Boxer.
Your from conservative Nebraska and you are criticizing California’s senators?????? How does a conservative state like yours elect Ben Nelson (rat). I would be embarrassed to say anything.
A state that when 452,979 Reb. 333,319 Rat in 2008?
BTW there are some 10 times more Republicans in Ca. that Ne. We deal with 10 million people in LA county and San FAGcisco/Oakland what do you deal with to allow Ben the POS Nelson to get elected?
I didn’t say “Republicans”. I said “Conservatives”.
Good to know that Arnold still has someone backing him out there.
Yes - Nelson got elected. He’s a Democrat right down to the core.
Arnold ran as a Conservative Republican...and how long did that last? Of course, a real Conservative out there is dead on arrival. The “Conservatives” out there couldn’t even push through the Protection of Marriage Amendment - the black vote going for Obama carried that day.
That I don't believe.
No, it's true. Don't forget, Cali is really really big. There are a ton of conservatives. But even more leftist morons.
You know, I think I’m starting to see what another problem with the state of California.
Good luck out there.
DeVore, along with Campbell and Fiorina, has consistently been within the margin of error of Boxer in the polls.
A great number of Republicans are still undecided in the primary. This is our one chance to elect the best, the brighest, the best qualified, and the most principled.
Chuck likes Eastman too. I got to hear the three main Republican candidates in a candidate forum at the last CAGOP convention.
