Finally -- you knew this was coming -- on June 14, 2002, Chris Matthews himself introduced a panel discussion about a letter signed by many prominent leftists condemning the Bush administration's conduct of the war on terror. "Let's go to the Reverend Al Sharpton," Matthews said. "Reverend Sharpton, what do you make of this letter and this panoply of the left condemning the Bush regime?"
Oops. Perhaps Joe McCarthy never called the U.S. government a regime, but Chris Matthews did. And a lot of other people did, too. So now we are supposed to believe him when he expresses disgust at Rush Limbaugh doing the same?

Nice one!
Where were all these sensitive souls concerned about security when ASSASSINATION OF A PRESIDENT about the murdering of GWB came out?
The posters and slogans from the left make the Tea Party look like a Sunday School group (most of them are).
Rush is so good at this stuff. I’m not sure if he remembered Chrissie saying this but even if he didn’t he’s still brilliant at hoisting libs on their own petard.
under the heading, “keep your enemies close”, I actually used to watch matthews frequently before PMSNBC went completely off the deep end.
This is too funny!
I talked to him on the radio once; he lied then too.
Every leftist I know refers to the 2001-2009 administration as the “Bush-Cheney Regime” or, occaisionally, the “Cheney-Bush Regime”. They also love to point out that we did “regime change” on the wrong nation.
They’re all idiots. If Margret Sanger were alive, she’d advocate euthanizing all of them.
I’m praying when I listen to Rush on Monday he opens his show with that Matthews regime bite.
Ha, excellent picture!
This is the problem they face, isn’t it. They poisoned the well and salted the earth, and now they want to pretend it never happened.
The left is totally shameless. I remember watching Hannity play the clips of Biden, Pelosi, Reid and Obama condemning reconcilliation in 2004 and 2005. Hannity then asked the Dem du jour, Kirsten Powers what she thought. Her reply?
“Are you telling me politicians are hypocrites? That’s nothing new. “
In other words, it’s the Dems doing it, so *yawn* nothing to see here.
Crissy and others like him parrot and comment on what they are programmed with, they may not actually be aware of much beyond that. There isn’t much free thinking or expression in the social circles they frequent, just preaching to each other and reinforcing the same old misconceptions. Crissy would never dare to actually attend a conservative rally, he would rather give the impression that he would be in danger.
Exactly right, can't be too much intellectual curiosity there, it would lead to too many disappointments.
Nicely done.
They demonstrate the confidence which comes with ignorance. They have no idea just how much they do not know, they assume they know everything. I had to deal with people like this at work, they believed that any halfass idea they had was viable. I’m sort of glad my formal education ended before I caught the bug.
I finally took Matthews off the enemy watch list when he became so predicable it just wasn't necessary to put myself through the torture.
Watching matthews was getting to be a lot like being water boarded and you can only take a few seconds of that crap.
FRiend, those are too funny....sexy secrets of the obammies, LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!
Good catch, Byron!
I also like how Obambi is out there complaining that it’s just so mean that Rush is calling him a Socialist. When — oops again! — Al Sharpton just said Obambi not only is a Socialist, but that the American people voted for him BECAUSE he is a Socialist!
And all Obambi said to Sharpton was “shhhhh.”
