I don’t know how Bart Stupid has the bloody nerve to even show his face anymore. He was a real deceiver that’s for sure. He deluded most of America into trusting that he had some principles that he was willing to stick to no matter what. The whole thing was a sham. I hope his career and his reputation are over for good. CO
The Repubs & Conservatives need to realize immediately the Alinsky ‘rats fight dirty and we need to play as hard as they do. Otherwise, we are doomed just playing the nice guy and assuming the Alinskyites will play by the rules. they won’t..

Your “leaders” are nowhere to be seen. We have to go with what we have and support them when they do the right thing.
Boehner came to Huntsville, Al and campaigned for Parker Griffith. Griffith is a liberal doctor who campaigned FOR government intervention in Health Care. He is a life-long Democrat who switched from Democrat to Republican after the Health Care Town Hall meetings last summer were a disaster for him.
The conservative Republicans in Alabama’s 5th District hate Griffith and are doing everything possible to defeat Griffith in the primaries. Why that knucklehead Boehner came to Huntsville to campaign for Griffith is beyond me.
Each day I grow more weary of FReepers who spout off against
every conservative voice that is brought up in the news
because they don’t speak well,
or they have bad hair,
or they said something stupid many years ago,
or because they are not outspoken enough,
or because they are not strong enough
on some key issue to suit that particular person,
or whatever the reason.
The time of choosing sides is upon us,
and I, for one, am glad that people like John Boehner
and many others who are “imperfect” are on “my side”.
Great post. I was never a big fan of Boehner, but I think he’s stepped up his game over the past 15 months or so. He keeps the troops in line without turning the public off the way Newt and DeLay did. I agree with the other posters that Ryan, Pence, and Cantor are more intellectual but Boehner shouldn’t be thrown under the bus.
I pray that he is replaced with a principled and capable leader in the near future.

I agree friend, I so much agree. It’s very very frustrating watching what is happening from afar. Although we aren’t really very far apart, we are still separate. I pray so much that America will rise up before it’s too late. Your dealing with folks who have NO consciences or morals or anything good - they will fight dirty as dirty can get. Most folks don’t think like they do but they need to RECOGNIZE who they are and act accordingly. It’s worth everything!! CO
