Some of the parties that received the money stolen by former School’s Director of Risk Management Stephen Hill were his friends and/or family members of his assistant.
DPS scam cost $57 million.
To be fair, democrat mayor Dave Bing has been better than anything we’ve seen in a long time for Detroit. (There won’t be a republican elected in detroit anytime soon)
Detroit? New Faluja? New Orleans of the North? Not in my lifetime.....
2 good things have happened in detroit...mayor dave bing (the propoganda campaign against him has just started, and the embedded criminals will try and bring him down) and Bob Bobb, the state appointed school emergency financial director (the machine has been trying to bring him down for over a year now) the only way to save this city is to remove every single city employee, and start all over again..
Nothing can bring Detroit back.
I’d say Mayor Bing is probably the closest thing to a DINO Detroit has had in decades. Dave Bing is a self-made man. NBA super star, business owner (Bing Steel), mayor.

My suggestion is to surround the city with barb wire and build a guard tower every eighth mile. I suppose the Tunnel and Bridge to Windsor can be kept open.

The people who made up the government in Detroit became “tribal” under Coleman Young. It’s only gotten worse. Bing needs to undercut that system.
