Few folks in his district disagree. Fewer are even paying attention.
I saw this last night. OMG. The really scary thing is that people like this can vote! Not only that, they can apparently be elected!
From the comments at the link;
“ I did hear that he has been undergoing inferon treatment for Hep C. This treatment is intensive chemo drug treatment and can produce slurring and slowness of speech and psychotic/irrational thinking. But, if this is the case, maybe he should not be acting as a Congressman while under treatment nor be on the Armed Forces Committee (which he is) and making decisions, due to the obvious impairment of his mental capacity.”
Agreed. If this is his problem, he needs to step down. He’s helping to make decisions that affect our national security on that committee. That’s scary!!
What they were talking about in that hearing is important stuff. They are talking about closing the Futenma air station, relocating it to the northern part of Okinawa near Camp Schwab and pre positioning some of the Marines on Okinawa to Guam. Not something that people mentally incapicatated or village idiots should be working on.
This video would actually be great in a Republican election campaign who ever decides to run against this Dem-bulb in the next election cycle.
If you compare video clips and photos of the Congressman now and only a few years back it appears that he has aged considerably. He is obviously not well. Chronic liver failure - as a consequence of Hep B - can cause encephalopathy, and as you pointed out interferon treatment can cause a number of cerebral symptoms, where the most common side effects appear to be depression and an acute confusional state. The latter develops rapidly after initiation of high dose interferon therapy.
I just have to repeat what others already have asked: How sick and confused can you be and still be allowed to vote in the Congress? And what is this man’s staff doing?

I really felt for the poor admiral he was talking to. The admiral did that body-language move where you squash a smile by raising a finger to your mouth. At first he was "Huh?" and then he tried to keep from laughing.
Good looking guy, but dumb as a post! What does it say about the constituency which elects a man this ignorant? [And just for those agitprops wishing to find a clue, dumb and ignorant are not referring to his basic intelligence, they are in reference to his illiterate nature.]
Making their ignorant constituents proud!!
LOL
Collecting paychecks from the taxpayers.
On the Neal Boortz show this morning they had on a spokesman from Hank Johnson’s office here in Georgia. The spokesman said that Johnson was just trying to be funny and that we have to realize he has a dry sense of humor. Yeah right....The only people who may believe this will be the ones who voted for him. He certainly gave plenty of ammunition to those who question the intelligence of people living in the south.......
LOLOLOLOL.
I worried about the exact same thing on my first trip to NYC from atop the Empire State, but of course I was 5 years old.
Look for roots. If you see roots, you’ll know. Wait, do islands have roots? Maybe it’s filaments, or is it anchors? OR do they have tentacles and sucky things like an octapus? D@mn, I should have paid better attention in geology (or is this technically geography?)
Quick, we need experts in Rhode Island so we can tell if home owners are just under water or doubly under water or triply under water. HEELLLP!
