And they sure as hell better do just that! Screw the GOP. Their cowardice got us here.

Need to remove all LIBERAL RINOs from the GOP, immediately. - Exactly - this is the very first move, then take on the democrats - not the other way around. To paraphrase general Schwarzkopf "going to war with rinos is like going to war with the French"

Yes, I agree with that statement, do you think the tea party name will continue. I think they are getting blasted from the left, because they are really, really causing ripples.

The GOP does not believe that we will support a third party.

I have nothing to loose, as thus far there has been little that the OP has offered besides “we aren’t them”.

Go ahead O-Hole GOP. You ARE loosing what is left of YOUR base.

Either the GOP gets with the program, and stays with the program, or they will have neither my money or my vote.

No exceptions.

“If the GOP does not begin to REPEAL ObamaCare.....they will be the Third Party in 2010 and 2012”

Most politicians want this power, left and right.

They’re politicians, remember?

I’ve been right every time about the GOP and I will tell you now, if you vote for them because they “promise to repeal commiecare” you will be disappointed.

We should be so lucky that a strong third party upsets the criminal hold over us that the D’s and R’s have.

I would happily support a real party.

I’d rather have the commies in charge than a bunch of two-faced, back-stabbing cowards. At least we’ll see the commies coming.

And, after all, the Republicans are not in direct opposition to the Democrats, they want socialism-lite, judging by their actions, and refusal to offer real resistance. You’re a sucker if you believe they did all they could do to fight obamacare—the ball-less worms risked nothing to fight it.

You’re being sold out by these crooked bastards. Republicans are not your friends.

I think anyone running on any ticket this fall had better think about the voters for a damn change. Why aren’t they listening? Just because you’re in a safe district don’t count on it? We’ve got to take care of that whack job castor in Tampa this fall.

[I]t's from AP so I find little credence in it.

I agree that we should take this story with a grain of salt. With that said, if this story is accurate, the cowardice disgusts me. We need to not rely on the RNC to lead to the repeal of ObamaCare. The People and the States will repeal it, with or without the help of the Supreme Court.

I am so damn sick of “cautious” politicians. Is there one in the bunch that could actually risk anything? No, I don’t want them to defy the people as Obama and the Dems just did but I would like to see them campaign on what they believe in and let us make the choice. Either they think this pile of crap should be repealed or they don’t. It’s deceitful to tailor the dialogue so as not to make waves whether that’s how you believe or not.

MAN UP GUYS!!

All Republicans had better run on “repeal and replace”. Not only will they destroy their own party, they will be accomplices with the Dims. Unfortunately, a third party won’t help us either when the Dims install a permanent one-party state via amnesty. If 0bamacare survives the court challenges, elections, state nullification efforts and a constitutional convention attempt, tyranny will be cemented in place and the Republic will soon fail. After that, the only chance for liberty is succession or a coup d’etat.

I have one word to explain all. Cornyn. This guy needs replaced as head of Senate Campaign Committee, yesterday. And Mike Steele can go as well. Folks need to get serious.

....GOP leaders....repeal is politically and legally unlikely...

Repeal would have to have 67 votes in the Senate to overcome a veto while O is Prez, 60 votes in Senate even if GOP wins control of Senate with both difficult if not impossible. Many good constitutional lawyers say it will be hard to overturn on constitutional merits. Guess we have to wait and see, but it certainly will not be repealed in Congress while O is Prez even if GOP wins both houses because of the two thirds needed for override.

if they don’t repeal it then the Republicans are going to own it if they are in the WH/Majority when the fiscal time bomb goes off around 2015

I don’t care the votes, if you will not run on repeal, and promise to vote to repeal, you don’t get my vote period. This one is non negotiable.

Otherwise means even when we have 60 votes, we still are stuck with this assault on the very foundations of our country.

THEY ARE NOT SENT TO WASHINGTON TO DO THINGS THAT WON’T THREATEN REELECTION, THEY ARE SENT TO UPHOLD THE CONSTITUTION AND IMPROVE OUR COUNTRY.

The Republicans could begin by defunding anything connected to it...

A very knowledgeable woman in the insurance company, told Rush last week that the high premiums will begin in January, so I’m becoming increasingly concerned that come November, too many people in this country will no longer believe ObamaCare is the great threat we conservatives have said it is.
