Hey TPX Team, thought you might enjoy some of these news hits over the past couple days. All last week and this week the Tea Party Express has been a major news story, and has been mentioned on TV more than 1,000 times over the past 4 days on CNN, FOX, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, and C-SPAN, as well as international news teams from Germany, France, Belgium, Japan, Australia, Canada, and Denmark. We have also recently had a flood of requests from liberal media outlets like Salon, Gawker, Wonkette, GQ, and most recently, a columnist from the Wall Street Journal, all requesting to embed with the tour.
The point is literally EVERY news outlet has been covering the tour, and all the coverage is driving the Left absolutely crazy. So you should know that all of your hard work is being noticed around the world. Keep up the fantastic work, because as Sarah Palin said, the Tea Party Express rolls on!

The crowd, estimated at 400 to 500, cheered on the tea-party speakers who railed on President Barack Obama, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Some waved American flags and signs. "We are in a battle for the soul of America," said conservative radio host Mark Williams. "The health care vote should have erased all doubt about that."

Searchlight, Nevada (CNN) -- Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin kicked off a Tea Party rally Saturday in Sen. Harry Reid's hometown, encouraging disgruntled Americans to "take back our country" while attacking what she called the "Obama-Pelosi-Reid spending spree."
"There's no better place to kick off the Tea Party Express than Harry Reid's hometown," Palin said at the rally, dubbed "Showdown in Searchlight," aimed at conjuring up support for the Senate Majority Leader's defeat in November elections.

Tea Party Express to Feature Challengers to Bob Bennett at Salt Lake Rally
The Tea Party Express has a message for Utah Senator, Bob Bennett: our country deserves better.
Today at the Tea Party Express rally in Salt Lake City, conservative challengers to Bennett will be provided a platform to speak to the crowd and provide voters an alternative to Bennett.
"We've said all along that the problem in Washington is one of both Republicans and Democrats, and Bob Bennett is the epitome of the establishment mentality that has led this country astray," said Mark Williams, Chairman of the Tea Party Express.
Keep on truckin’ TPX!!!
We were chasing cd’s and literature all over a parking lot!
The TPX 3 tour is going fantastic!
Hildy and Las Vegas Ron, sorry to have missed you at Searchlight etc!
That’s great, but with Palin involved, and her endorsement of McCain, I’m worried that the events in Colorado will be used to campaign for Jane McNorton...our very own Sen. Grahamnesty. I went to the TPX website, and it doesn’t say who the speakers will be.
Godspeed Tea Partiers and thank you for all that you are doing!

Hey Syncro!!
Good to hear from you!
Meeting up in Searchlight would have been impossible, some turnout out, huh?
Did you see this?

Is Palin involved in the TPX tour?
I did talk to Andrew Breitbart about it in Henderson
Pretty bizarre but not unexpected when you are dealing with Reid
Imagine if that cop would have busted the guy that threw the eggs, he would be buzzard bait by now
Reid is not a nice man--if he owns you, don't cross him
Have you been a dark corner of the world with no news coverage?
Do a search on the keyword palin
Cool, he walked past me at the SLTP, I recognized the face but couldn't put a name to it otherwise I would have said hello. I didn't realize who he was until I got home.....oh well.
Have a great time Syncro!
I didn’t expect a snarky response for a simple question - your website doesn’t show its lineup of speakers. Why can’t you answer the question: Is Palin involved in the TPX tour?
I attended my first Tea Party yesterday here in Salt Lake City, Utah. I met many fine local patriots and it was refreshing to have intelligent conversations with well educated adults. I didn’t see any Nazis or KKK, but I did see a diverse crowd of over 1,000 Americans of many different faiths, races and political parties united in love for our Constitution and Free Republic.
Thanks for the ping Syncro, was great seeing you in Henderson.
Did you see Sharon Angle picking up her heels with the Tea Party ladies.
She is hard working, very approachable and a true Conservative.
someone is missing an "l"

I remember the first TP convention, the entire crowd turned around, faced the media and said something to the effect..."Stop lying about conservatives!!!"
That's the only message they should get...the only quote.
I went to the TPX event in Denver. There was good turnout. Channel 9 estimated 500. I would guess four times that amount were there. There were a lot of people hawking T-shirts, button, caps, and “Don’t Tread on Me” flags. It turns out the TPX event is more like a travelling talent show. Lame songs about bailouts, etc. There was one song that our group agreed was good, though. The crowd thinned out as the singing continued. We left when they did a constitution rap song. I would have preferred to hear patriotic songs, but I didn’t come to hear songs, I came to hear speakers. Tom Tancredo spoke for about two minutes, and was well received. He mentioned “squishy Republicans” and got an enthusiastic response. It was interesting that when the talent mentioned Sarah Palin, who speaks at some TPX events, but not this one, the crowd response was muted, at best. It seems her campaigning for John McCain is damaging her. The TPX would do better to skip the amateur talent show, lead the crowd in patriotic songs, and invite locals to speak. The Tea Party movement is about sharing ideas, and finding authentic conservative candidates - not watching a lame travelling variety show.
