I wonder if this has been happening in other locales. If we can get some corroboration, it may indicate something. Yes, a couple of weeks ago we saw the black police cars and not the white community cars cruising the neighborhood. My husband said that the police were making more rounds than usual. Later that night when I let the dog out for his last potty, I saw a patrol car moving very slowly past my house. I opened the door and let the dog out. The car cruised past.
It just seemed strange to be happening.

I'm very glad you posted this. I've discussed this issue with some other freepers and asked if they noticed anything too. I live in a podunk town in Missouri (east central) and have noticed a big increase in LEO since last year. County and state. In addition, I've been through 3 checkpoints in the past 2 months and my brother through one.
It's a rural area but on a main interstate. Down the road/highway is the exit to a smaller village...remote/rural area. Anyway, A concrete tower has been erected with a camera mounted on top...there is nothing there. 2 weeks ago, the governor made an unannounced visit to my town...with HS (he's also on the council of governors-Obama's dream of a takeover). So I've definitely noticed ‘odd’ things going on. No tin foil...Like I said, it's extremely noticeable because it's such a small area.

Excluding the feds, the main reason local and state police may be more evident lately is tax revenues are down everywhere, and they need more money.

All this got me thinking ... Since I post here, and often in my erudite and highly evolved way will express my displeasure with some facet of Governmental activities, it made me think, "what if I am under surveillance by the feds, probably from the adjacent building looking in my windows?"

I mean brainiacs like Napolitano thinks guys like me (straight, white, male) are a danger, especially since I think the government shouldn't own car companies and run the health care system, and obviously they aren't pursuing leads on Major Hasan or crotch bombers or Code Pink, so they have to be doing something with their time ... so it's not too far fetched to think I could be on their radar.

I can envision the reports now:

Day 1 -- Subject awoke, fixed coffee, fed his goldfish, retired to his office area where he spent the next 4 hours on the computer, breaking occasionally to brush and pet one of his cats that had entered the room. Subject then proceeded to fix a lunch consisting of a ham sandwich and a glass of milk. Subject's afternoon was spent at the computer with a break to lift weights in his bedroom, and the occasional phone call to his Dad or sister (NSA transcripts attached). Dinner was cooked around 8pm, looked to be Tuna Noodle Casserole. Late in the evening subject showered and went to bed.

Day 2-6 -- exactly like day 1 with some menu variations at lunch and dinner.

Day 7 -- exactly like Days 1 - 6 except Subject went to Kroger in the afternoon where he purchased approximately 100 dollars of various food supplies (Bank Debit Card invoice attached), chatted briefly (NSA transcript attached) with the employees at the corner gas station, and returned home.

Week 2-26 -- Exactly like week 1, although subject did visit his Dad every couple of weeks for a day or two (Satellite GPS tracking map attached).

Week 27 -- Agent in charge promoted to supervisory position (GS11) to complete final report for dissemination to all Federal and State police authorities entitled "The Dangerous Racist Hate Militia Hard Right Dangerous White Male Danger and the Imminent Threat of Danger Report". Replacement agent (GS9) in place, further reports forthcoming.

That's some sort of strange. There needs to be a visit with the local sheriff's department to go over what is up with that. Don't know how your SO is, but here where I am Mr. letter jacket would find himself boxed in by two patrol vehicles, hands on hood, while explaining who he is and what he thinks he's doing - fancy raid jackets mean nothing to them and they take a dim view of oddballs alarming the citizenry inside their turf. Hopefully your local deputies are of the same mind.
