20:02 IAF fighter planes scrambled after foreign warplanes approach Israel (Ch. 2)

I need one of those too. Would be more affordable than an American Carrier.
Besides, it would be a hoot to throw parties on. My friends would be so jealous.
Saw that.
And still a dumb idea. That would be a smack down like no other.
Heck they might even acquire a Carrier for the first time. That would be neat.
Poor bastards knew what was coming and hightailed it back to their carrier.
I went to a dusk-till-dawn party on a Russian sub that was docked on the Thames river in London many years ago. I don’t know who owned it, but they rented it out for parties. It was a blast.
Whoever it was, they are standing down according to Haaretz.
That would have been cool.
what are you smoking? can I have some?
Looks like they’ve moved the sub, but they’re still renting it out for parties...

Absolutely, Stayfrosty. 100% of Biblical Prophecy has come true with incredible accuracy.
This is a great website to check out if you want to get educated on Biblical prophecy that’s been fulfilled and Biblical prophecy that is still slated to be fulfilled:
www.rapturealert.com
There are others, but I trust this one and www.raptureready.com the most because of the folks that founded the websites. They are good, sound Biblical scholars (Dallas Theological Seminary, etc.).
Unless, of course, you were being sarcastic. Then all bets are off for you checking this information out.
But we agree on this: Good people sleep peacefully in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready
to do violence on their behalf.
Petreus would have begged to be in the first plane.
Must have been one of those olden planes from North Korea.
He will. Its just that certain individuals havent figured that out yet, nor will they.

You are right, bergmeid.
“Behold, He who keeps Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep.” — Psalm 121:4
and
Zechariah 12:1 - 3
“The burden of the word of the LORD concerning Israel. Thus declares the LORD who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him,
“Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah.
“It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.”
Obama and his administration can push Israel all they want — they will be severely injured in the process. It’s a promise - from the God Almighty.
The Iranian claim is basically a crock. At last report, they have only one air tanker that is in operational condition, a modified Boeing 707. The only Iranian Air Force unit that practices long-rage navigation and refueling (but only sporadically) is the 3rd Wing at Hamadan Airfield in western Iran (equipped with F-4s). By sporadically, I mean once or twice a year for long-distance navigation, and slightly more often for air refueling. On that schedule, Iranian pilots can’t even maintain proficiency, let alone devlop the skills required to reach Israel and achieve some degree of tactical surprise.
So, in other words, the Iranians may have the capability to “drag” a handful of aging F-4s to the edge of Israeli Air Space, where the IAF would make short work of them.
BTW, Iran has other aircraft (SU-24 Fencers, similar to our retired F-111s) that can use “buddy refueling” from “probe and drogue” pods carried by other SU-24s. But the Fencers rarely fly, and I’m not sure if they’ve ever practiced buddy refueling.
Like most claims about Iran’s military, this one is grossly exaggerated (and that’s being kind).
Over the recent few months regional governmentsincluding the Turk, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iraq, have beaten a path to Assads door.
Since Israel isn’t identifying the culprit - it could be the Turk. Old habits die hard.
And the Patriot is even better. Yeah, the Israelis complained about its capabilities against Scuds during Desert Storm, but they never got rid of them. In fact, the IDF has the latest variant of the Patriot; not only are they much improved against ballistic missiles, they are absolutely devastating against tactical aircraft.
One reason that the unofficial motto of Patriot units is, “If it flies, it dies, and we’ll sort out the pieces on the ground.”
And if it’s Lebanese, it’s still Syrian, skipping over the mountains like a randy young goat.
The Patriots were okay against SCUDS, which in an of itself was a feat. I bet they would have slammed any aircraft.
