Yes, but I remember that it was Dateline on NBC rather than 60 Minutes.
Funny thing about the camera crew that blew up the Saddle Bag gas tanks to prove they were dangerous. They went down to Arkansas to interview the owner of the car dealership where the $25,000 check to Bill Clinton from White Water was found in the trunk of a heap. When he drove off in a new Corvette, the brakes failed and he hit a telephone pole and died.
