Since the beginning of the health care debate in Congress, companies have been concerned about the eventual costs that the bill would create if passed. A couple of days ago some companies like ATT, AK Steel, John Deere and Verizon followed the laws of full disclosure and made public statements about the potential fiscal environment the Health Care Bill would force them to exist in. Now that the statements have been made, Henry Waxman is again using bully tactics and intimidation to stop these companies from: 1)expressing their concerns to the public and 2) following the law that requires that they do not conceal what they know about their future earnings prospects.
I find Congressman Waxmans conduct deplorable. After he acted as one of the members of the Democrat Congressional leadership that forced this bill upon Americans, to now engage in a witch hunt against his perceived political enemies is outrageous. Most disconcerting of all are the McCarthy tactics that Waxman is using by threatening the full power of subpoena against the executives from these companies and demanding a full internal disclosure of corporate documents that pertain to their estimated health care costs.
We have many problems facing our wonderful country today, most of which have been caused by Waxman and his cabal. I wish we could focus on those issues like national security and the economic health of our nation rather than engaging in political retribution.
Henry Waxman should be ashamed of himself and I am embarrassed to have him as my Congressman.

Californians, get rid of Waxman
No wonder you have such problems

Browbeating? Yeah, he could probably do some damage with one of those beetles. But probably less than he could do by snorting on them.

Henry Waxman spent $745,084 in the 2008 election (more than any other previous election). Here is the kicker, HE WAS UNOPPOSED!
Ari David should make a statement relating to corrupt nature of his 2008 campaign tactics.

Of course, what else do facists and communists do, other than attempt to beat honest working folk into submission, first by words and then, if that doesn't work, by violence.
