I agree for the most part, except for the post office because nobody else is doing what they do for .44 cents a letter, but walmart is no hero.

Federal law prohibits anyone but the post office from delivering mail.

Except that the post office doesn't "do what it does" for 44 cents a letter - it takes several billion dollars in annual subsidies from us taxpayers in addition to that 44 cents per letter to do what it does. And it doesn't do that great, all things considered, for the amount of money us taxpayers lose on it every year. I wholeheartedly agree with the original post that, at least as far as the USPS is concerned, Wal-mart should be put in charge of it.
