Fox speculated that the online videos may have help alert officials about the group.

Why arrest them? Congress is committing treason but the FBI is after these folks.

If the FBI is going to start enforcing the law against “seditious conspiracy”, when will they arrest Obama and members of his administration?

conspired to oppose by force the authority of the US Government

Can they be more specific? Or is there actually a crime called 'opposing by force the authority of the US government'?

Something doesn’t smell right. The FBI is saying the group was targeting the police...yet CAIR comes out yesterday saying the group was targeting muslims. The investigation has been going on since 2008...yet suddenly it’s time to arrest these people?

However, if they were targeting the police and there is proof of such, they belong in jail. Isn’t it sad that we now have to be suspicious of our own FBI because Obama and Holder are muslim appeasers and sympathizers.

It’s nice that they’ve finally come up with any specific charges whatsoever.

Some evidence would also be helpful.

If the FBI is going to raid places, they really ought to get their PR machine up to speed. Rather than have hours go by with the Internet aflame with legitimate questions about their actions, the FBI ought to release solid information about the charges involved up-front.

...the group was to kill a law enforcement officer, then during the funeral precession, hit again with IEDs to kill more LEOs.

If they act like Muslim terrorists, there is nothing Christian nor patriotic about this group.

charges of seditious conspiracy, attempted use of weapons of mass destruction, teaching the use of explosive materials and possessing a firearm during a crime of violence,

Seditious conspiracy: a crime of being a part of the other parts they mention.

Weapons of mass destruction: anything that can kill more than one or a few....such as an explosive

Teaching the use of explosive materials - This is extremely vague and could go from stump removal to who knows what. In other words, a meaningless charge without details. (Also explains the WMD charge above.)

Possessing a firearm during crime of violence: almost an obvious one.

Crime of Violence: this is the only thing that sounds like it could have meat on its bones, but it doesn’t say armed robbery, thuggery, etc. (So, if you illegally blow up a stump...is that a “crime of violence”? And if you carry a gun during that explosion.....???

Just like the OKC bombing allowed them to demonize conservatives and talk radio, this will be used by the media to attack anyone who is anti-Obamunist.

When did the government start enforcing sedition laws? Seems like there have been plenty of opportunities in the 60’s to the 90’s. I don't know anything about the group in question but the old saying “when they came for the Gypsies, (etc.) I said nothing...” seems appropriate here.

Nobody on this thread should lose his/her head here.

If such charges are true, surely they should have been stopped. My guess is the feds have infiltrated almost all such groups, going back before Obama was in office. Sure, the Dems want to play it up for political purposes, but we don’t want wackos blowing up the police or whatever. Let them have the Bill Ayerses.

When CAIR and SPLC are quoted in the same article, it’s BS.
