According to two knowledgeable sources, Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele once raised the possibility of using party money to buy a private jet for his travel.

According to federal disclosure records, the RNC spent $17,514 on private aircraft in the month of February alone (as well as $12,691 on limousines during the same period). There are no readily identifiable private plane expenses for Democratic National Committee chairman Tim Kaine in the DNC’s last three months of filings.

Once on the ground, FEC filings suggest, Steele travels in style. A February RNC trip to California, for example, included a $9,099 stop at the Beverly Hills Hotel, $6,596 dropped at the nearby Four Seasons, and $1,620.71 spent [update: the amount is actually $1,946.25] at Voyeur West Hollywood, a bondage-themed nightclub featuring topless women dancers imitating lesbian sex.

I’ve been posting for seemingly ever that the Leftists are trying to take over the GOP as they successfully did the Democrat Party. I believe that RINO’s are the Leftist’s associates, agents of that movement.

I believe,...it is my opinion Michael Steele is handing us more evidence of the Leftist intentions towards the GOP almost every time he opens his mouth.

I like Michael Steele, but I think he may be too high-profile for this position. He is making too many mistakes, and making Republican donors hesitate to send money to Republican causes.

What ever happened with those attacks by Debbie Schussel (sp?) re: the Hannity charity thing? Friends sent me e-mails about it, but I never learned whether or not it was true. Hannity never mentioned a thing about it on the air, as far as I know... (I watch his FNC show nearly every night, and hear bits and pieces of his radio show)

I don’t know if Steele was there it only shows the RNC disbursed the money to the club. You need to ask the RNC’s CFO who turned in the expense.
