Mornin’ kiddies!
I was gonna post this as a vanity, but since those are kinda frowned upon here I thought I’d just throw this out to y’all here this morning and see what you thought.
Yesterday, during Oshama’s lil’ speech to the troops in the ‘Stan he said the following:
“There’s no daylight when it comes to support of all of you. There’s no daylight when it comes to supporting our troops.”
Now, I was born and raised here in this country and my understanding of American English is purty good and has served me well for over 50 years in my day to day life, but for the life of me I cannot understand just what he was trying to say!
My eldest was with me watching too and she has always been a straight A+ student in English and reading comprehension and she was just as clueless as I.
Neither one of us got what that meant.
So, y’all, help a fellow FReeper out here...Am I just dumb beyond belief ? What am I missing here? What did he mean?!
I don’t understand it either. Maybe it’s some secret commie speak for “you’re screwed”. After all that’s what everything else he says means.
BTW...Obama was very quick to comment on the bombings in Russia this a.m.

No daylight. His position and mine are so similar, that there is no room to find a difference between us. Think of two people standing side by side so closely that no sunshine can be seen between them.

What I believe he means is "there is no daylight between us when it comes to supporting all of you".
I bet he even really believes that to be true. Most Leftists believe the troops are just hapless dupes of the evil military industrial complex so they really think they can oppose the mission yet support the troops.

Since the projected bounce in poll numbers has not materialized as expected from his signing of HC, I suspect they will have Dear Reader running around all over the place "looking Presidential" to get the focus OFF what is really in the HC bill he just signed.
