ADRIAN, Mich. – The FBI said Sunday that agents conducted weekend raids in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio and arrested at least three people, and a militia leader in Michigan said the target of at least one of the raids was a Christian militia group.
FBI spokeswoman Sandra Berchtold said there had been activity in two southeast Michigan counties near the Ohio state line. She wouldn't say whether they were tied to the raids in the other states.
Michael Lackomar, a spokesman for the Southeast Michigan Volunteer Militia, said one of his team leaders got a frantic phone call Saturday evening from members of Hutaree, a Christian militia group, who said their property in southwest Michigan was being raided by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
"They said they were under attack by the ATF and wanted a place to hide," Lackomar said. "My team leader said, 'no thanks.' "
In Michigan, police swarmed a rural, wooded property around 7 p.m. Saturday outside Adrian, about 70 miles southwest of Detroit, said Evelyn Reitz, who lives about a half-mile away. She said several police cars, with lights flashing, were still there Sunday evening and 15 to 20 officers were stationed in the area.
"They're your average, nice neighbors," Holtz said. There were rumors about ties to a militia, but Holtz she knew nothing of that from her interaction with them.
One of the raids in Ohio occurred at Bayshore Estates, a trailer park in Sandusky, a small city on Lake Erie between Toledo and Cleveland, park manager Terry Mills said. Authorities blocked off the street for about an hour Saturday night, he said.
"Needless to say, this has everyone talking," said Mills, 62. "We have a lot of retirees here who don't want all this commotion."

Thought about that too. Three massive raid in 3 states for “dangerous militia” and they only come up with 3 arrests? Hey, even Hitler would find it hard to top that pure propaganda and fakery.

Back when I was going to school there was a saying that went thusly: Fool’s names, fool’s faces are always seen in public places.
Maybe they should have applied that.
And “they” make up even a smaller percent of the American voting populace. White guilt (when there should be none)

Yeah, what a big announcement, “gun charges”. Big deal. What a joke.
Three arrests? Hah, four street patrol cops arrest that many people in a restaurant in Silicon Valley on a Friday night for something and make the charges stick, and that’s not even immigration issues I’m talking about.
I’ll assume that the purpose instead was one or more of the following:
- Keep the “right wing people are dangerous” storyline going
- Practice makes perfect, a long hot summer is coming
- Show of force — take down a “militia” or two just to give Tea Party folks something to think about
- Fishing expedition (computers, papers taken as “evidence”)
- Property confiscation just for laughs (is also “evidence”, I wonder what percentage will be returned)
I doubt that this is a complete list of possible alternative motives / goals.
It’s that damn Tea Party, don’t you know.
We need to take this effort on a State by State, County,[Parish] by County [Parish], and into every voting precinct in every City, Borough, Township, Town and Village in the United State of America. All Freepers need to work in all locations to get his job accomplished!!

We have only to remember that John Conyers / Dearborn, Mich. . .has largest Muslim constituency. . .(and those planes as of late with problem passengers; were headed to Detroit - from Amsterdam).
