You'll learn to like it.
That's the message from White House advisers and Democratic lawmakers to Americans opposed to the health insurance overhaul signed into law last week.
And they're willing to wager that come November, Americans will have done just that.
"As people learn what's actually in the bill, that six months from now, by election time, this is going to be a plus because the parade of horribles, particularly the worry that the average middle class person has that this is going to affect them negatively, will have vanished and they'll see that it'll affect them positively in many ways, " Sen. Chuck Schumer, D.N.Y., said Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press."
The new health care law goes into effect immediately, but many provisions won't be enacted any time soon, and while the Senate debate has ended, the public square offers a preview of the midterm campaign battle ahead.

How's that Hoax and Chains working out for ya?
They don’t even know half of what’s in the chains box yet.
Yeah, just wait until the costs start coming out. Already a number of companies have annouced the cost on employees. Democrats are incested. It has only started.
0 the carrot dangler.
This reminds me of the Halloween Bill. Mostly tricks with very few treats.
Obama promised them 30million more Democrat socialist voters from universal voter registration/immigration reform...
I only hope the pubbies can withstand the ramrod that is coming just like healthcare.
This is what our parents and grandparents faced in 1941 when we were attacked at Pearl Harbor. The Sleeping Giant was awakened by the attack on Pearl Harbor. Our Constitution and We The People were attacked by the 219 Elitists in this Congress and this thug Administration who signed the Genocide Bill that will send the elderly to Hospice Centers by way of their Death Panels and denial of care. Bill OReilly and others keep asking if We The People can stay angry through November to carry through with our vow to vote these vermin out of office forever. My response is that my father fought in two wars to protect and defend this country, the least we can do is work to rid ourselves of these Elitists in November and again in 2012.
Watch and remember what our parents and grandparents faced:

Plus they’ll spend the next seven months talking about amnesty and cap-and-tax so that should put folks in a really great mood as well!
Even the handful of Senate GOP who before Bummercare were receptive to the idea of amnesty, are going to tell Obama to take a long walk off a short pier now. Scott Brown still matters.
Stockholm syndrome is a term used to describe a paradoxical psychological phenomenon wherein hostages express adulation and have positive feelings towards their captors that appear irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims.
what makes them think they have the right to make that decision for me
He can’t very well come out and say, “you know were are going to get out butts handed to us in a hand basket.” I am sure they know from their polling they are in trouble but have to keep up the good face for their followers. If they say otherwise then their support (money) will dry up.
“Hoax and Chains”
That’s very good.
Yeah? Just try me.
How many hundreds of thousands of AT&T retirees and/or employees are going to be impacted by that company’s $1 billion write-down based on the passing of this bill? Will their health insurance change? Will their premiums rise? Will that $1 billion write-down be a one-time event or is this a permanent adjustment for AT&T and its relationship to its employees and retirees? And the same questions can be asked of 3M, Caterpillar, John Deere, Verizon... and the list will go on and on. The unintended consequences of this legislation will be unveiled probably weekly for the balance of this year (or maybe it will come to an end just before election day) and maybe it will reach a peak near the end of the year as the Bush Tax Rate Cuts are poised to expire and small businesses and the others impacted by these rate hikes start making their plans.
The bottom line of this awful legislation is: taxes go up; premiums go up; employers will be encouraged to reduce the health care benefits they provide or pass along more of those costs to the employee; employers will think twice about making the marginal hire (imagine the employer who is near 50 employees knowing that the government wants to go after those hiring more than 50 if they don’t provide a health care insurance mandate — do you think that employer is going to hire another 1-5 workers and put his company over the top?).
Unintended consequences... the Democrats will never EVER learn the danger in legislation like this. Or they will never give a damn.
It’s heating up pretty quickly, isn’t it, metmom!
Oh, I forgot to add to my last reply: States will be crushed by these increased mandates and will fall further and further in to the rat-hole of deficits due to unfunded mandates.
As I think back on all of the mainstream media coverage of the health care “reform” package, I don’t think I ever remember a mainstream media person giving any attention whatsoever to what this will do to state obligations under medicare and medicaid. Those exploding liabilities are likely to just explode and are completely ignored in the CBO’s false scoring of this bill.
16,500 new IRS agents? Whats not to like?
