So What!

Posted on 03/28/2010 3:00:13 PM PDT by RED SOUTH

Palin is helping McCain. Doesn't make her a rino anymore than Reagan was a rino when he helped rino's in 78. Yes , he did.

Anyway , would you rather have Mitt , Huck or Pawlenty? Your choices are probally down to the four or you can sit out again and help that pig Obama get another term.

Forget about crossing your fingers for some fantasy of another canidate emerging from somewhere else to save the day. If you do not have a pac raising money now and are active by campaigning and collecting you I.O.U's , then you will be too far behind to mount a serious run later. Only four republicans are this far in the process.

Another point to think about , Palin probally did this as part of a larger strategy. To middle America , people who don't identify strictly to party or ideology but usually decide the election , seeing Palin and McCain together was a nice contrast to Obama and Pelosi and a lot of them voted for Obama have huge regrets and after seeing Palin and Mccain together , wished they had voted the other way. I am talking about Reagan democrats who voted for Perot and have been the swing vote that decides elections.

“And she’s blaming those of us who didn’t waste our votes on third party fringe candidates of causing the mess we’re in. “

Blindly voting “GOP” with no accountability is what has gotten us in this mess. Moreover, John McCain is the reason we are in this mess.

Yet, you’d have us fall all over one of his biggest supporters as our savior and support her without question.

I’ve seen quite a few of your posts. Most were quite “nasty”. Mostly aimed at portions of the Republican electorate you despise - like libertarians.

Libertarians are not conservatives.

And I knew that's what was driving your vituperative posts all along; I just wanted to get you to come out and admit it.

Gotcha.

That’d be a start. By the time my state voted, the primary was effectively over. They should all be on the same day nationwide.

Who is anointing a savior? Seems to be your little Rorschach test. The level of defense you see by some is in direct relationship to the level of attacks.

Here is a clue for you- outside the internet, all of this claptrap whining about Palin with McCain is almost non-existent. People are still showing up to events she is at in record numbers.

All this Palin Madness Syndrome is doing is just getting the Palin fans more defensive, and trust me, won’t give up because some anonymous name on the internet calls them liberals.

Wait a minute though, you say you're part of the "Republican electorate" too but you criticize following the gop ticket. Btw, would you define this as "nasty" or truth?

“Libertarians are not conservatives. “

Big “L” ones aren't. Conservative libertarians exist - they're the ones wanting small government across the board and a strong border. Unfortunately, the GOP Establishment is mostly made up of old-line liberals and want neither of those things.

By the way, did you know there is a BIG push in the Palin camp for her to take back her endorsement of Rand Paul because of his involvement with Adam Kokesh.

Now there is a camp you should never jump in bed with- the real cult like followers who have picked up who knows what diseases also sharing the sack with the Sheehans and Code Pinkos.

I could say that was “projection” on your part, but that would be needlessly insulting.

Nah...I made a pretty good diagnosis there and you know it.

You're just trying to play "I'm rubber and you're glue" again.

Face it; you'd never be able to come up with anything as clever on your own, so you have to resort to that tactic.

Yer funny.

I criticize not holding Republicans accountable.

Yes. Republicans should choose the Republican nominee.

LOL.

I don’t use dime-store psychoanalysis in arguments, no.

Libertarians for border security.. lol, now that’s funny. Next thing you know, you’ll say that libertarians are also for stronger law and order, including cracking down on drug users and cartels.

“Libertarians for border security.. “

Yes, they are. They’re for Constitutional government, too. Something no Democrat and most Republicans don’t want. You keep bringing in Paul. On the domestic front at least, he’s right. The actual Libertarian Party is another ballgame. I guess the “big tent” is big enough for amnesty pushers and global warming nuts, but not big enough for people who actually don’t want “John McCain’s vision for America”.

“Next thing you know, you’ll say that libertarians are also for stronger law and order, including cracking down on drug users and cartels.”

I have to agree with Justice Thomas on that one.
