I couldn't believe he said that!...really dumb.

IMO, Crist is totally disingenuous. It's all about him. He just wants to play with the "big boys." He's outgrown state gov't! LOL!

I don't like him. Surprise!

Crist should be toast. Bennett in UT may be toast and ditto Specter (hopefully) in PA.

McCain has to go. He is more evil than Crist and has caused FAR more damage. I donated to JD Hayworth today. Others should if they can afford it.

“So go vote 3rd party, if it somehow clears your conscience, and let your kids and grandkids try to clean up the mess that you’re leaving, by empowering even more Democrats.”

Actually, I don’t think that’s the solution. I don’t mind Scott Brown at all even though he is a liberal republican. But we aren’t going to do any better in MA.

But the way the money guys control the party is putting RINO’s out of the primaries with lots of money and establishment backing over perfectly good and solidly electable conservatives in states that will elect a conservative.

So the solution is what’s happening in FLA. The R’s are going to nominate a likely very conservative guy over a squish that got all the money and establishment backing. The question for the general election is whether the party establishment will turn on Rubio to punish him for knocking off their guy. They could make the general election a lot closer than it needs to be.

But in general, conservative states and districts should be represented by conservatives. Had the party establishment allowed that to occur during the past twenty years instead of aggressively twisting the party to the left, the R’s would not have had the electoral disaster we had in 2006 and 2008, in my opinion.

But make no mistake, I’m thankful for the Scott Browns. But I’m not thankful when the party establishment forces the nomination of a Crist over a better and more conservative candidate in a state that will elect that conservative. The solution is to not let the money guys control the party. They will always pay for moderates, regardless of the desires of their districts.

This is a democrat operative hijacking the conservative movement trying to split the ticket. Glenn beck is confused. Don’t fall for it.

I do give Glenn Beck credit for educating folks about history and the constitution and for actually reporting about the backgrounds of Obama’s gang of Marxists in his administration.

I do not respect Glenn Beck for his treatment of the so called “birthers”. Glen says over and over that folks should question their elected officials in government....but he does not want anyone to question Obama about his constitutional qualifications. Glenn could have just said he does not believe there are problems with Obama’s constitutional qualifications and dropped it. Instead he called the folks wanting answers to simple questions crazy cooks and worse.

If Glenn promotes ANY candidate running as a candidate of the so called “Tea Party Party” of Florida, then I know he is NOT helping our cause. Anyone who checks out the group who managed to register that “tea party party” with the state of Florida will know they are NOT patriots.

It’s Charlie Crist but at least the poster didnt call Crist - Christ which happens all too often.

I do that with Chris Matthews' name sometimes. Not intentional of course.

My wife chimed in during the debate with "The Form 1040 is a user fee too. After all, no one is legally required to have a job"

I agree, Crist set a new bar for cluelessness.

Rubio’s speech at CPAC was the very best one. The conference went downhill from there. CPAC needs to jazz it up a little bit imo. Rubio was the high point. There should have been many more.

You were at CPAC? I'm sorry we didn't meet in person! :o)

I couldn't disagree more about "CPAC going downhill". My husband and I and four friends attended our 8th consecutive CPAC last month and - as usual - it was informative and enjoyable (except for that bogus straw poll).

I agree Marco Rubio's speech was a high point, but there were also amazing speeches/appearances by Michele Bachmann (her speech reduced us to tears), Col. Allen West (running for Congress in Florida's 22nd district), Sen. Jim DeMint, John Bolton, Andrew Breitbart, J.C. Watts, J.D. Hayworth, Phyllis Schlafly, Leader John Boehner, Rep. Joshua Mandel (OH), Jason Mattera (author of Obama Zombies), Mike Pence, VP Dick Cheney and daughter Liz Cheney, Rick Santorum, Amity Shlaes (author of The Forgotten Man), Rep. Jason Chaffetz, Gov. Bob McDonnell (VA), Newt Gingrich, Bob McEwen (former OH Congressman), John Fund, Ann Coulter, Michael Barone, Dick Armey, Sen. Scott Brown, Herman Cain, Eric Cantor, Rep. Steve King, Hon. Michael Williams (TX), Hon Chuck DeVore (the conservative running for Barbara Boxer's seat in CA), Star Parker, Rep. Tom Price (GA), Hon. John Ashcroft, Rep. Darrell Issa, Anita MonCrief, former ACORN employee and brave whistleblower (and newly converted conservative!), Steven Crowder of PJTV, Jonah Goldberg, speeches by numerous members of Tea Parties, including Dana Loesch of the St. Louis Tea Party, the list goes on... And - like him or not - we greatly enjoyed Glenn Beck's speech.

At CPAC 2010 there were numerous panels, side-sessions, film screenings and the Tea Party Express (of recent Searchlight, Nevada fame) threw a "tea party" in the atrium of the Marriott, free for anyone who happened to walk into the hotel... they rocked the place!

In no way has CPAC been going downhill, IMO...

No, c-span actually covered CPAC but after Rubio, imo, c-span chose to broadcast the dullest parts of the conference to broadcast on purpose. It’s just like w/anti-tax rallys. When rallys were in DC, c-span kept replaying Obama’s speech on that day instead of showing any tea partiers. c-span has a liberal filter and they are always trying to help Obama.

There you go. C-span ONLY showed some housekeeping sessions instead of the speakers you listed. See how television distorts? They didn’t show the best and the brightest on tv. I don’t remember Glenn either but I think by the time he came on, I left. Let’s blame it on c-span. Works for me.

Besides, in this new era, lots of things Fox News would have broadcast, they are SKIPPING to do fluff stories on animal rescues and Hollywood cheating.

If Florida's tea party is corrupt and infiltrated, who can we tell in the media who will expose this? It doesn't help for us to just tell each other. By being on Fox News, Glenn Beck seems that he's permitted to call Obama czars, et al whatever he wants but imo, "hands off of Barack Obama". This is the new Fox News. If Glenn wants to stay on Fox, he has to play their game. He has young kids and one in college. He has a great lifestyle. He needs the Fox deal.

Who can help us expose the corrupt Fla tea party before we end up with Crist or Meek as US Senator? or Obama re-elected in 2012? No telling what a crooked tea party could do.

Crist's new smear ad against Rubio today was VERY NASTY. Liberal newspapers slammed onto the screen with loud anvil sounds as the liberal paper headlines bash Rubio. Now everyone in Florida knows those lib papers are only good for the Sunday ads.

However, there's a radio spot against Crist about his deal with big sugar - it's not about a haircut and a mini-van, or phantom slush funds. It's about substantial funds. It hasn't gotten past the legislature. Crist is trying to bypass the legislature just like Obama does. Crist makes deals without permission of the lawmakers.

The media here is not reporting on deals with like CXS, etc. Lots of the rail companies here. There’s going to be light rail from Tpa to Orlando through Polk County cities. Paula Dockery is running for Governor and she’s wheeling and dealing re: rail companies forever. I don’t trust her either. Crist sugar deal, Indian casino deal, rail - crickets chirping.

Yes, and Paula Dockery seems to have connections with the group involved in the registered “Tea Party Party”. She is not one we patriots want to support. Bill McCollum is getting my support.

As for the news getting out about Doug Guetzloe, Fredric O’Neal and Nicholas Egoroff, it will be coming out when all the sources are verified fully.
