An “Atheist” “Representative” would be the same thing as a “Pro-Life” Democrat. Neither one could ever represent me. Both are oxymorons.
There are plenty of Christians who attain public office who do not vote like conservatives even if they claim to be one. For instance Huckabee, GW Bush, that sally from SC, etc. It seems to me that quite a few “conservative” Christians are only conservatives on social issues the financial issues not so much.
It’s really funny you say that. I can debate the pro-life position for hours, without bringing up the supernatural.
