Two years ago, John McCain transformed Sarah Palin overnight from an obscure first-term Alaska governor into a national celebrity when he picked her as his vice presidential running mate.
Now Palin is repaying the favor, putting her prestige on the line in an effort to help the four-term Arizona senator overcome his toughest re-election challenge ever.
The two campaigned together Friday for the first time since they lost the presidential race in 2008.
At the first of two rallies this weekend, Palin pumped up Tea Partiers, invoking the cause of the first Tea Party in 1773.
"Remember it was the Freedom Fighters and those who protested tyranny and big government," she said. "And that's what we're doing today."
"And when you think about that first Tea Party, shoot, some may claim that John was there, at the first Tea Party," she said with a laugh, poking fun at McCain's age. McCain, who is 73, grinned widely beside her.

That was a brilliant argument LOL!
Competition, huh? I thought that you said you're weren't backing ANY ticket?
So, why are you competing on a Conservative forum then?
Is English your second language?
It just proves your dishonesty, posting 25% of the post. And cowardly too.
2010....this is 2010....earth to Ridgerunner...the election is years away....
That is...incorrect.
Let’s use your own tagline to explain this one; “Only dead fish go with the flow.”
“So, why are you competing on a Conservative forum then? “
Because I am a real conservative. You are a groupie.

I believe that Sarah stuck her finger in the wind and decided the breeze was favorable for a McCain win.
I agree. But I am not interested in the Palin Political Viability Chart, I care about the USA, and Palin is now the enemy.

Afraid to post the whole quote??
Typical Democrat sleazeball move
No a..wipe, and I did notice that you insinuated that I said that. Go to H__
That's not entirely correct either...
You just proved it with your own words.
But its all about the context!
Still struggling with the English language I see. Never mind (LOL).
And you are all about dishonesty.

Tens of thousands came out to the middle of nowhere in the desert yesterday to hear Sarah. That's what's going on out there in the real world...
Okay, the way it was stated, she (UK B)made it out to make look like I had said that she was the enemy. With that, I have never called Sarah the enemy or considered her that way. Just more pro Sarah slander against anyone who won’t drink the caribou coolaid.
What part of, “Sarah has lost massive support from Conservatives as a result of her support for McAmnesty.” Don’t you understand?
I’m going to church for a few hours.
Now children, behave yourselves.
Oh Geez. A good fight starts and I’m asleep at the switch. I hate to jump into this mess so late, but I just think we have to cut Sarah some slack here. It would be dishonorable for her to refuse to campaign for McKook, even though he is a RINO. I wish she wasn’t doing it as enthusiastically as she is, but I guess that’s just how she rolls. I’m ignoring it, but I realize it stains her credentials as a true conservative. I suspect this disables her for 2012, but I don’t know if that’s her year anyway.
But, I think I’ll give another few bucks to JD just for good measure.
