It comes down to this, and you cant refute it: the pro-Palin stand is more conservative than the anti-McCain one.Did you write that with a straight face? Do you even know what you said?
That you can mutually exclude the two is preposterous.

You just combined two incompatible anti-Palin charges.
The “Palin can’t be taken seriously” charge is put forth by the moderate RINOs, many of whom voted for Obama.
The “Palin is bad because she supports McCain” is held by conservatives blinded by tunnel-vision.
If you combine them, it appears you might have another agenda.

Palin is campaigning for conservative principles as advocated by McCain
at the moment, when running for reelection. There, fixed it.

RE :”Cant McCain study the words of Douglas McArthur and JUST FADE AWAY!’
Didnt Truman fire DM over Korean war regarding China? I just saw that 1977 docudrama McArthur again (about 50 times) a couple of weeks ago. One of my favorites.
Maybe McCain has to be fired too... just a thought.

When Palin quit halfway through she gave any opposition this hammer.... Yup, and even if there is an arguable reason for quitting it doesn't sell well. Americans don't like quitters. You can fail and try again, but you can't quit.
As for Eric Cantor; I like him very much. his fatal flaw vis a vis electability is that he is Jewish. America is generations away from electing a Jewish POTUS, especially a conservative one.
American elected an adherent of the obamunist religion...I wouldn't be deterred by someone being Jewish. Although perhaps some might.
As you said, it is early yet...
It is indeed. But let me entice you with an entertaining thought for a moment...picture a presidential debate between Obama and Cantor.

Any dirt on Bachmann or Ryan? I've heard that Ryan has endorsed McCain, but I have not confirmed that and if true, I don't know if it was for the current race or if it was for the '08 presidential race.
On illegal immigration, while Ryan voted correctly on the big anti-amnesty bill in 2005, he has voted for several smaller amnesties and he has voted for sanctuary policies for illegal aliens.
If I remember correctly, Bachmann supported Obama's increase in FDA control bill several months back and she received some tough criticism here for that vote.
And of course next week, Bachmann, who has asked for Sarah to help her in Minn., will be fraternizing with your new public "enemy", Sarah Palin.
Both Bachmann and Ryan as well as Palin, Coburn, DeMint and Pence, big fat warts and all, are still on my "A" list...until the perfect candidate comes along.

Yeah, I saw your post after I posted mine.

Why are you such an a**h**e? Everything you do is twisted nonsense.
I guess you know a lot about me. I don’t think you are correct in your assessment.
Your opinions on SP are every bit as informed as knowledge of my donation patterns.

IMO America elected a smooth talking dream as a rebellious act against daddy (middle-aged, white Christian males) not an openly muslim person.
No Jewish candidate could win but not just because of inherent anti-semitism alone. The ME is the powder keg upon which the world sits. The US has been the only power that has been able to keep it from exploding. Election of a Jewish POTUS would kill that, leaving the way open for a greater arab led jihad against Isreal and its openly "Jewish" partner, the USA.

I don't blame you for pretending you don't support freaks like Ron Paul. I wouldn't want to admit that either.
I see you still don't want to discuss Palin sucking up to a socialist.

Correct. We harp about the left and their Messiah, but it seems many on the right are not content until they find "The Perfect One" as well.
Uh, oh...when Bachman makes a mistake who will be left?
To: bobzeetwin
To get rid of the current administration and all the cultural problems that came with it, we need to be pragmatic, and accept some of the realities we don't like.
It's hardly pragmatic to implement the lesser of two evils strategy for a Conservative to endorse a socialist. That has already proven to be a losing strategy.

A very good point made on another thread—any criticism against Palin for supporting McCain today, if sincere, should have been used when she accepted his nomination of her in 2008.

Anyone here who has been consistent, show your posts from 2008. Otherwise, you’re either suffering from tunnelvision or you’re an outright socialist.

So....if you didnt vote for McCain I will assume you either voted for Obama or you didnt vote for anyone who had a chance.....
Your attempt to continually divert from the topic of the thread regarding Palin campaigning for socialist McAmnesty becomes more pathetic with each post.

What I don't get is how she can openly support someone with no principles, someone who denounces conservatives, gets in bed with some of the worst liberals ever (Schumer, kennedy, Graham,) and who probably secured a million more votes for 0bama when he told people in '08 that they had nothing to fear with 0bama as President....earlier it was, Clinton who he said would be a fine president, the Democratic Party was a fine party BARF!!
Sarah Palin has compromised herself!
