Two years ago, John McCain transformed Sarah Palin overnight from an obscure first-term Alaska governor into a national celebrity when he picked her as his vice presidential running mate.
Now Palin is repaying the favor, putting her prestige on the line in an effort to help the four-term Arizona senator overcome his toughest re-election challenge ever.
The two campaigned together Friday for the first time since they lost the presidential race in 2008.
At the first of two rallies this weekend, Palin pumped up Tea Partiers, invoking the cause of the first Tea Party in 1773.
"Remember it was the Freedom Fighters and those who protested tyranny and big government," she said. "And that's what we're doing today."
"And when you think about that first Tea Party, shoot, some may claim that John was there, at the first Tea Party," she said with a laugh, poking fun at McCain's age. McCain, who is 73, grinned widely beside her.

Did you EVEN read her quote: ""Remember it was the Freedom Fighters and those who protested tyranny and big government," she said. "And that's what we're doing today.""
Can you honestly reconcile your knowledge of McCain and that quote?

I haven't kicked anybody to the curb except for Palin and Romney.
Neither one would get my vote or support in the primaries.
I'm open to consider anyone else.

Ah yes, the old lesser of two evils strategy.
If I ask, I'm sure you will say you have NO idea who you want as President, it's 2 yrs away, etc. Am I correct?

What so many of the usual suspects fail to realize is that not a single Sarah supporter likes her endorsing McCain. But we all 'get it'. Hell, even Rush, Levin, etc. don't like it but 'get it'.
What's amazing about that list is there are some who have made it a career to endorse RINOs. Yet, for whatever convenient excuse, they are given a different standard of treatment. If anything, it exposes a hypocritical agenda of those folks that in the end will likely produce another conservative endorsing a RINO but with justifiable reasons- in their mind.

I would like to think that by 2012 America will have had enough of stylish, telegenic Presidents who are basically empty suits (or blouses).
And demonstrated failures like Romney.
And ready for something a little more in the mature, quietly competent line.
Like a Mitch Daniels or Haley Barbour.

So, you still believe that Palin supporting McNasty over J.D. Hayworth is a “real smart” move in order to attract support from Conservatives, it not only reveals your true nature, but clearly shows that Palin could care less about what the Conservative base thinks.
Palin is convinced that she must appeal to the moderates and Independent liberals in order to get elected. Sort of reminds some of us here about how MaObama got elected in the first place. LET'S DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN! /s.

McShamnesty is an open-borders pro-amnesty RINO.
For me, that’s a deal-breaker. And it wrecks Palin for me too, if she is okay with open borders and amnesty.

This is the typical tactic Palin lovers use to deflect attention away from the fact she supports a flaming socialist. Deal with it.

By your own litmus test, none of those on this list would get your vote. I can also assume since you didn’t mention him specifically that you’d consider Huckabee, who is as bad, if not worse, than Romney and McCain.

So....if you didn’t vote for McCain I will assume you either voted for Obama or you didn’t vote for anyone who had a chance, therefore, it is you who is as responsible for the socialist mess as much as anybody. You a hopey changey kind of guy?
