Weighed as a business decision??? I imagine Betsy’s business quickly went under.
Because you’re a sleazy, lying Democrat?
No mention of the Constitution. Not surprised.
She is a lieing bitch, she traded her vote for support from the SEIU.
The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office estimates that the compromise measure the House passed on Sunday costs $940 billion, more than $100 billion less than the House-passed bill. It reduces the deficit by more than $1.3 trillion in the next two decades. It will be the single largest deficit-reduction bill in 27 years.
Obviously, this guy had a lot of luck in his business, because he just proved that he has very poor business analytical skills.
“Every time we made a major business decision, we evaluated that decision on its own merit.”
What BS. This was patchworked, secretive, dirty dealing ... and even Pelosi said they didn’t know what was in it until it passed.
As is coming to light now medical perscriptions will increase significantly for many seniors under this legislation. The remainder of her defense is also self deluding drivel.
Off w/ her head! (for libs out there that's a topical satric comment and not intended to incite hatchet wielding klansmen)
Will the next Denver Post story have reporters taking to the voters and be titled:
Why I voted for U.S. Rep. Betsy Markey!
OR
Why I voted against U.S. Rep. Betsy Markey!
“Hi, I’m Betsy Markey, and as a liberal elitist I look down on your pathetic lives and think to myself,...”now how can I tax these Conservatives even more so that can continue to lead this exclusive bourgeois lifestyle in Washington and accept bribes for my votes?” Well, the answer is easy. I a crook. I’m a liar. I will say anything to get elected and then stab you in the back. It’s fun. And besides, I love to see small people suffer and twist as the ever expanding role of the federal government suck the life out of them. That’s what being a Democrat is all about!”
What absolute bullsh*t.
I'm thinking that must be a nonprofit, albeit unintentional nonprofit. Maybe that's why her husband suggested she go to Congress.
I'm guessing she misses the old home-based web business.
The seething anger...rage, really, among just the independant voters I know of is huge.
If your husband won't take you back on staff, you best be brushing up the resume in a jiffy...there aren't many jobs to be had back this way in your district...
Come November, you're getting the Trump card from your constituents:
You're FIRED!
Do not give any of these politicians a chance at drawing a pension from the taxpayers. If they don’t have the time in & voted for Obamacare they’re out.
This is a mischaracterization of the issue. She makes it sound like the bill covers her kids below the age of 26 - like age 12 or 16. In actuality, the issue is that the bill allows adults up to 26 to stay on their parents insurance. This is just another piece of legislation that enables or incentivizes young adults to feed off of their parent's (employer's) health plan. Instead of lowering costs, this kids can sit at home watching the Cartoon Network.
If the idea was to provide coverage for students attending grad school, they should make full time attendance the stipulation for getting the coverage. If the idea was to capture young, non-workers into the democrat voter pool, it would identify their typical MO.
Didn't need to read any further than the title. If you voted for the health care bill you are either an idiot or a slimeball.
Well then Ms. Malarkey, you fail on both counts.
So, we couldn’t have come up with a better plan? If she seriously thinks this is the best thing that they could have come up with, then I’m surprised she ever ran a business for any length of time.
Well Senator, you say you used ‘good budgeting with good management’ while running your small business. Did you ever pay a vendor for 4 years before they rendered any meaningful service?
And she used to 'crunch numbers'? She's in for rude awakening when the numbers start crunching her instead.
