Update: And now WSJ says a Korean ship went down near the border, probably due to a torpedo.

This comes the same day comments from North Korean media about Kim Jon Il wanting to drop a nuke on the west, so you can see why folks are jittery.

“Gold Soaring”

Not really soaring. It shows up $11.00/oz, less than 1%

Gold is up nicely but I would hardly say it is soaring.

Do NOT be distracted by anything else. Concentrate fire on the primary enemy.

Unfortunately, here in the real world problems and bad guys usually aren't polite enough to take turns. They'll start to gang up on you if you put all of your attention on what you assume to be the primary enemy.

We don’t but everybody’s reporting it was a torpedo. And, I suspect they have some sort of sound recording of high speed screws usually associated with a torpedo. Even if it was a mine...it means the NKs aren’t putting out any kind of warning that “Hey, we’re mining the NLL!”...either way, this gets ugly fast. War? I doubt it, but a replay of the border incidents of 1966-1969 or the Axe Murder Incident? Very possible.

The primary target are the marxists here, because without first taking them out we cannot deal effectively with external threats.

The threats elsewhere won’t just go away. Yes, we need to deal with Obama and his elves. But let’s not pretend they’re the only problem, or even the main one.

Martial law for his definition of civil unrest would initiate the real thing. Suspending elections is a no-go since we have never suspended elections during wartime, even during the Civil War.

They ARE the main threat.

LOGIC:

The North Korean Marxists are not here enslaving the people of this union under a marxist tyranny...

BUT..

The domestic marxists ARE in the act of enslaving us under a marxist tyranny! In fact they Just set the friggen KEYSTONE!!

How about we kick the domestic marxists friggen A$$ before we go out and kick North Korea’s A$$?! because guess the friggen hell what?! The GD marxists that just claimed ownership over your a$$ are in control of our military as well.

Now we will get to see obama’s international crisis strategy put in motion

1) Ignore it
2) Downplay it
3) Minimize the news reporting of it (hey, it’s almost a weekend already!)

problem resolved- not perceived as a “crisis”

I have always been of that opinion. However, actualy getting Pueblo back would be a task. It’s parked near downton Pyongyang in a river that is a long way from the ocean. IF we ever get it back, the recovery team(s) would be in NOKO for a long time towing Pueblo down that river and out to sea. But, IMHO, it would be worth it. Had we known about it some years ago when she was towed from Wonson to Pyongyang, we could have gotten her then. I read that a Polish firm was hired to do the tow. I just bet she had a lot of company to prevent her from being retaken by the US Navy.
