Some years back there was a cartoon in the New Yorker entitled “Good Cop, Great Cop.” It was a drawing of a guy in an interrogation room. You know, bare table, one overhead lamp with a conical shade, hanging on an electric wire. There’s a guy sitting at the table, with one cop pushing a pack of cigarettes at him. Another cop is coming in the door of the room holding a little plate, and he’s saying “Biscotti?”
I thought Muslims didn’t even celebrate birthdays.
