This has been the media meme on the Tea Party movement from the beginning. Since the day of Rick Santelli’s cable-TV rant in support of capitalism, the default assumption of the left has been that Americans who show up to protest the Obama administration are all just one pillow case and pair of scissors away from joining the Klan.
If it were merely poor reporting, that would be bad enough. But the cry of racism is being used against these concerned citizens, not because it’s true, but because it’s an effective way to intimidate and marginalize President Barack Obama’s political opponents.
The more time Obamacare defenders spend shouting “bigot,” the less time they have to spend trying to explain the unworkable math of their new bureaucratic boondoggle.
Which is why the O-bots of MSNBC have made a cottage industry out of stereotyping protesters as, to quote one of the network’s frequent guests, Janeane Garofalo, “white supremacists” and “teabagging rednecks.” And the media’s current obsession with allegations - most uncorroborated - that an idiot or two shouted a racial slur during last weekend’s protests of the Obamacare vote is straight from their playbook.
Is it possible that among the tens of thousands of protesters, someone did something stupid and offensive? Of course. What does that prove about the 60 percent of all Americans who share the Tea Partiers’ opposition to Obamacare?
If every Obamacare opponent is going to be held responsible for the ignorant rantings of a single lunatic, does that mean Obama supporters are responsible for Keith Olbermann?

The question that I keep asking myself is, are these people truly of the right. Perhaps a few are or think they are, but, could they also be people of the left who have been ordered or encouraged to make outrageous calls, comments, etc.? We're pretty certain that nobody spit upon or said racist comments directed at the poor africanhyphenamerican congresstrash who purposely walked thru the tea party crowd gathered there. Who doesn't think that those trash have secured, reserved, private parking so that they don't have to mingle with the peasants?
I think all this crap is an organized effort by the left to discredit us. I don't think they are as foolish as we would like them to be. A journey of a 1000 miles begins with a single step, and they have been on that path for decades now refining their approach.
Interesting that there is supposed to be accountability for this alleged hate speech, but if one tries to hold Obama accountable for association of 20 years with Rev. Wright’s hate speech, then you are just being narrow minded or silly or even hateful yourself. This goes way, way, way beyond a double standard. They have to decide...accountability for associations or not. Pick one or the other. Can’t have it both ways.

I judge each man by his own merits, no matter what color he is, and I judge Obama as a racist, Muslim ,America hating ,Homo loving ,creature working for the devil ,to destroy America. And doing a good job of it.
