One of the quirks of living in a super liberal state like Washington.

Children can make the decision about abortion.

In this case, the abortion was free because the child did not tell her parents...

Can you imagine getting the call if something had gone wrong? Imagine expecting your daughter to come home from school and you get call from their “Health Center” instead saying there were “complications” from an abortion.

I hope this mother wins her fight.

This is despicable and sad.

But, there are many states where this is allowed.

Parents, know your states law. Most school districts have legal control over your child the moment you drop them off at school. They have legal custody.

Some sad day, a child will die, and then the school district will be sued to h*ll and back.

Prayers for this family.

This means parents have only financial responsibility as it seems the State can make your child do anything or allow them to do anything all in the name of “schools”.

But, in many places, if that daughter brings an aspirin or OTC to school, she’s in real trouble.

I am not a lawyer but I would think that a State law, that endangered minors and that nullified parental rights, would not be constitutional. Am I wrong?

This has been the abortion battle always. Judges making law:

In Planned Parenthood of Kansas City v. Ashcroft (1983), the Supreme Court ruled conclusively on the constitutionality of parental consent laws– parental consent was found to be constitutional so long as it also allowed a judicial bypass if such consent could not be acquired.

In Planned Parenthood of S.E. Pennsylvania v. Casey (1992), the Court placed parental involvement firmly within a broader set of legal principles governing a woman’s constitutional right to an abortion. Parental involvement, and other regulations, were constitutional so long that they did not place an “undue burden” on a woman’s ability to acquire an abortion.

My first reaction was skepticism.

So I had to confirm it.

Here is a link to the ABC news report (Video did not load).

Seattle Post Intelligencer and Fox News also have the story.

Children can make the decision about abortion.

To take it further: Children can make the decision about abort(ing children).

***the center gave the girl a pass and put her in a taxi for the abortuary, all during school hours.***

All this from a school that will not allow you to give child an asprin w/o parental consent! Wow!

OK...who paid the bill? Doesn’t the school get Federal funds? How do they account for those funds to ensure none of the that federal money supports this type of nanny-state garbage? Short answer: They can’t.

This is happening all over the United States...this is not a unique situation at all. There are millions of mothers out there that have no clue their daughters are doing this.

It happens in Texas also, a conservative state, but the liberals got a stranglehold on the issue and schools are hauling girls off.

Schools are teaching kids to have sex, promoting sex as a natural body function not to be ashamed of, handing out condoms and BC pills and haven’t a clue whether the kids are using them or NOT!

THEN when a girl turns up pregnant they whisk them off to the murdering babies clinic with a promise of don’t ask don’t tell, and it’s free.

The school counselor tells them that the clinic will offer them grief counseling and lots of assistance. But when they get there, they talk to them about 30 minutes and whisk them to an abortion. When it’s all over, they tell them that they don’t do counseling they’ll have to go to the county to get free counseling.

They have no clue what damage they’re doing to that young girl’s psyche, or to the mother/daughter relationship once the parent finds out as they always do, because the girl ends up not being able to handle it on their own.

Never again, can the daughter expect respect from the mother or trust.

This is an abhorrent practice pulled off by these cold-hearted secularists who care nothing about parental relationships and see life as expendable for THEIR purposes.
